The Vale have hmv a new person booking live music, and at least they're trying things. I have had my issues with it, but equally had some fantastic times there back when it first became The Vale. I'd never say never (particularly as my band might end up playing there).

I never really in the whole elbow thing. As for Coldplay, they have had some really decent tunes over the years, but I just can't get passed Chris Martin's general knobheadness, going right back to the video for Yellow.

The law is a bit hazy around disability access. I think in order to not put small businesses out of business, they accepted "reasonable effort" (such as a shop keeper coming outside and tking an order from a wheelchair user, if the chair can't get in to the shop itself. However, when it comes to a large company, I think there would be less sympathy. Unfortunately though, the legislation can be interpretted in different wys.

Agree about the costs, but I wonder where they stand legally when it comes to disabled access. It would need someone to take the time to kick off acott it though.

Not that I want to see any libraries close, but if it came down to a choice, I'd rather see a poorly used library close, and the home service be restarted.

Heidi, what you've basically posted there are blogs. I suspect social services had rather more to go on. Yes the experts all agree (as would any sane person), that taking a child from it's mother because she won't wean it, is absolutely wrong, and if this organisation is indeed trying to do that, then urgent investigation is needed. HOWEVER, what you seem to be ignoring, is the fact that there may be far more serious issues in this case. I've never worked in Spanish social services, but I can promise you, social services in the uk do not take kids from parents without very very good cause. I suspect Spain is much the same.

I quite enjoyed Blade 1 and 2, can't remember much about the third. Also enjoyed "dragon" the Bruce Lee story, staring Jason Scott Lee (no relation) as Bruce.

It does sound terrible when it's presented in the way it has been, but I can't believe that it's quite as simple as the petition is suggesting. A panel of social services professionals are not going to take a child away from it's mother because of breast feeding, I just can't believe that.
