No Maxxi, refs are more interested in the rules than the technical side.

I'm more interested in the technical side of football than the tribal element, Otta.

Perhaps it's because I like cooking, understand what quality means and adverse to all forms of marketing. I'm happy in shopping at high and low end of the retail market. I'm afraid M&S does nothing for me in terms of price or quality. I have more respect for Iceland shoppers than M&S as they're not influenced by huge advertising budgets.

No one hardly disparage mid table teams...

East Dulwich was never a chavtown, Gavain. I object to M&S because they do not meet my high standards and that the shop is the number one choice for 'don't know any betters'.

There was a brilliant men clothes shop, just around the corner from the Crounch End shops, that closed some years ago. The owner and I just talked about jeans and soul music for over an hour. eta: commas.

Sorry Otta, I was trying to help woodrot. Anyway, is there any truth in the rumour that Liverpool will be approaching Andy Gray for their Head of Diversity position?
-
Try Ron Atkinson, woodrot.

An old favourite - stakeholders.

I suspect that may of the young single renters are not able to cook and so do not understand food quality. Thus they become prime marketing victims. M&S customer = Marketing victim ;-) There are plenty of families in ED, LondonMix. Obviously you have not visited the 'Family room' discussions yet on this forum.

I don't feel inspired by the selection but pleased to see the Ox. I'd guess Terry was chosen for his experience. Should England qualify for the next two rounds then they should face Spain but have no chance in beating them. I think it would have been better to blood more youngsters in preparation for the world cup.

The term 'nverted snob' does not apply to me. I also feel embarrassed to wear their clothes due to lack of the 'cool factor'. Quite simple really, those who shop inside M&S do not understand quality or style.

Sadly, you're mistaken, basher. Your taste buds are influenced by advertising. M&S spend ?160m on their advertising. Plus ?80m on staff bonuses. Once you factor in the fancy packaging you then realise that M&S buy their food cheap and sell them at high prices to the muppets. It seems Economics isn't your best subject, basher. Just as bad as your taste buds.

I look so pretty after a good shave!

I've been using a Merkur safety razor since 2004. I have the Gillette 1904 replica but planning to get an Edwin Jaegger one too at some point. You can get some excellent blades from Rye Lane for a pound. There's even one shop that sells a set of ten blades for 50p. I don't recommend the Merkur blades though as they tend to make your skin sore. Tesco does some excellent blades for ?2.00. I can't say much about badger brushes as I tend to use olive oil as a lubricant for shaving. I've had good results with Aldi olive oil which leaves my skin glowing. I used to pay ?16 a bottle for shaving oil up until December last year but I feel olive oil is so much better. I hope to migrate to straight razors one day for the ultimate shave.
