  1. I can think of a few but not many by name. There's the pizza place preceded by the veggie Indian. The Cherry Tree pub,Green & Blue, the little gift type shop opposite and down a bit from the GE. There are many others I'm sure. The Patch? What I'm curious about is who invests so much money in something that fails so quickly? Unless you have money to burn you must surely think about what you are doing. It seems many don't. Who are these people and why do they think they will succeed, as surely they must? Just a thought, but I reckon the minds of the forum would be able to come up with a business model in ED that would last,if not the money for it.

I think it used to be the case in women's tennis in particular that if you were going to be a top player you would have done so by the age of 23, if not several year's younger. I loved how HW played and I don't think she choked in the last set even if she was 3-0 up. Williams was lucky to get through and at 33 she is probably over the hill tennis wise. She plays her sister next and she's 35. Given the quality of Watson's game I really hope she climbs up the rankings. So much of the game at that level is to do with controlling what's between the ears.

Serve and volley is the way to play on grass.I spent all of my youth playing on grass and always loved it much more than any other surface.

By doing so he won more money than he had done all year. He is 30. He will probably lose his next match and never be heard of again......

  6. Quids, when you are dishing out your birthday gongs, I believe both ed_pete and RD deserve at least NBE?s for services to the numbers game.
  7. I thought we were on holiday for a while..........
  8. Leicester sack Pearson. What's that all about I wonder?

  10. You think Monday to Friday would be better? I reckon you've had these since 1968 when city robbed united of the league due to their distractions with the European Cup. Therefore I suggest you buy new inflatable ones which can be pumped up with lots of money whenever they go flat........like the team really ☺

  12. Will there be any boxing involved or cue fights (I'm a natural)?
  13. I've dropped people off in Eccleston Place(google the map of the station). If you time it right it should be fine. I don't think you can park there legally but if you are staying in the car it should be ok. Better still if you can communicate with whoever you are collecting and pull in somewhere where you can stop legally and then collect them from there when they have arrived. Others may have better suggestions.
  14. Well done ed-pete. To think I came out of retirement for this. I should have known when my goose was cooked. #overthehill
  15. Had two mini cuts and received a text message. I'm just curious how they have my number and who are UKPN?
  16. Ah, never mind.
  17. I quite like him. I don't know how he is rated or over-rated for that matter. The episodes he did for TV on his bipolar condition were very watchable for someone like me who has a family member with the condition. I never saw him in Sainsbury's but I did see him at the only cricket match I've ever been to. The Oval 2005, Saturday. The Ashes.
  18. Of the posters so far, how many live in ED? Has anyone never lived in ED? If a large percentage of EDF users don't live here then it must dilute how representative it is of ED itself. I live here, but if you were to merge all ED males into one being, I might make it as a fingernail. Forums may be old fashioned but I wonder how many under 30's who aren't kids actually live here. Maybe the EDF users would be closer to being representative of ED if that were true... Anyway, I must try this........blow ins ETA Did I spell it wrong?

There's all sorts of fad diets that might help with that.
