  1. So Legia have appealed to Celtic to play again on various grounds of honour, fairplay etc. Celtic's response is they are unhappy with those comments and it's a UEFA matter. What's wrong with those comments? If Legia were a bigger European fish I bet UEFA would find a reason to allow them to continue in the competition. Celtic, do the right thing. It would be a breath of fresh air.
  2. Are you moving to Peckham DM?
  3. https://www.skybet.com/football/specials/transfer-specials?aff=9718&dcmp=ss_betlink_TRANSFERPANEL Interesting to see what the bookies think. I counted 4 players that are odds on to join United.
  4. Deleted original post as pointless going down that route.

  6. I don't want to play PredictAddict after last season. It was unreliable and led to suggestions of cheating. However if you are open to the idea of something along the same lines consider this http://predictor.talksport.com/ I'm not going start an alternatve league but if as a group you would like to try something slightly different then I think this would be more fun and I'd be in. I'll probably play it anyway in the faint hope of winning ?1M. What do you think?

  10. Surely if you post about your business in the Lounge you haven't bothered to check out the forum and anything sarcastic that comes your way is just the way of the Lounge and down to your lack of research (which wouldn't require much). Good luck anyway as we all need to make a crust. I've never had a kebab though as i've been vegetarian since long before I even heard of them.
  11. I'd hardly call it a mad emotional need. It may have been more to do with having freedom to make their own decisions.

I believe many were against the Rising in 1916 which changed after the executions. But I don't think there was ever a vote on the subject around that time. Am I wrong?
  13. I heard there was a burst pipe on Barry Rd on the radio yesterday morning, before 6AM!
  14. Can anyone advise if a monthly train ticket can be used on the buses during this period as the no. 40 seems to be my best option?
  15. The depths? The velvet underground...
  16. That's 'feck' by the way....
  17. You are assuming he can afford it. If you want to you can make it. My wife did it by going to Luton Airport one evening, missing her Stansted flight (as she was in the wrong airport), booking an early morning flight and taking the coach from Luton to Stansted. Very relaxing way of doing things. Are you flying from Stansted?
  18. I always considered a toasted cheese sandwich to be a meal in a pub.
  19. From where? If you go to Liverpool Street you can get a train early enough.
  20. Two v One.........bastards
  21. http://babb.telegraph.co.uk/2014/08/why-you-should-watch-scottish-football-this-season/ Why you should watch Scottish football. Amused me.
  22. Given the effort the management made to make the pub a nice place to go to, I find it hard to believe they would allow a customer to be treated that way.
  23. One Hundred and out.......
  24. Can someone explain this concept to me.......'commonwealth'. Bit late in the day I know. Why would you want to share anything with your previous oppressor?
