  1. Thanks unlurked. Basically that's saying write to all or any of them. I'll try the former.
  2. Ah, I was going to ask you about that as they keep plugging it on the radio. Anyway, a question for the experts. I notice on Betfair the odds on England beating Wales in the rugby and England winning the Triple Crown are different. How come? If England win the match, they win the TC.
  3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dulwich_Hamlet This has a list of former players who went on to be pro's.
  4. Having been grabbed by bellbottoms some years ago, I've lost interest in trendy things.
  5. I want to bring a subject up with one but can only see that London has 8 representatives. I can't see anything about each of them covering specific areas of London only their party allegiance. Do we have a local one or is it a case of lucky dip? Anyone know please?
  6. I'm sure I read it somewhere, sometime, that the ground was used by the England squad for training prior to departing to Chile for the 1962 World Cup. That squad would have included Charlton and Greaves.
  7. Post Busby the team was in decline as Georgie Best knew. Frank O'Farrell and Dave Sexton, two much admired managers both failed at OT. It took two managers with big egos, Tommy Doc and Big Ron, to bring back some excitement for United followers.I can remember when the FA Cup mattered and the excitement of getting to a semi or even a final. Both managed to do this. I suspect Moyes is more of an O'Farrell or Sexton, humble guys. United may need an ego to restart them. Who could that be?
  8. As a glory hunter, is there any chance of Villa being good in the near future? I'm looking for a new team to follow and have once been to Villa Park. I like the club colours and will be a loyal follower if you can give me some assurances. I have an Aunt in Birmingham which should cover any potential snide remarks regarding my credentials.

  10. Very enlightening comment there PD.
  11. I'm resigning to stop me from cheating which frankly can only be a good thing. I'm a naughty boy. I will continue to play the prediction game where alas I don't have that chance.
  12. > > EP v AqM > RC v SC > AM v Mx > OT v LG > > > Fixtures to follow before they take place on 8th & > 9th March... As I've resigned please feel free to make alternative arrangements with my q/final berth.
  13. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,185836,1179540#msg-1179540 There are at least a couple of threads. Search 'concrete house'. One is attached. Don't know enough about the subject to comment.
  14. Ah feck off Maxxi. Poor losers me arse.
  15. Having just watched the 2nd half again sans glasses de vino, I have to say that it was only extraordinary defence that got England over the line. For there to be no scoring in the last 25 minutes must be unusual in Test match rugby. It's still Ireland's to lose. They should have the points and the points difference to know that winning in France will give them the championship. Trouble is France could be going for it too and one never knows which France will play. England to beat Wales and Italy and to try and score as many point as possible.
  16. I don't see France in any of the Euro qualifying groups. Did Platini not get his way?
  17. Was he not returning from injury in the last few tournaments? You know with him that if he isn't fit he doesn't have the natural talent to allow him to get by.
  18. At least he is playing.
  19. No it isn't or at least none who bother to post about it. A draw.
  20. Jeez, I think you managed it RD.
  21. That's why I mentioned it Mick.
  22. Quids did say 'at present' which could often be applied to very good players at points in their careers. Rooney is a good example. There have been times when he couldn't trap a bag of cement. Ozil is no dud but he does look tired for want to a better word. After his first few games he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. As they say, form is temporary but class is permanent. Now, how many more cliches can I fit in one post?
  23. You know Tuohy broke him arm Mick?
