Having worked at UP for 6 months and seen how ruthless the current regime was about people who had worked there for years, I have no time for the owners or their very senior representative. I think the dilemma of the owners at WH is that they have to stay in the PL with the move to the Olympic Stadium happening. They know SA will deliver that with his record. However, what manager could they get who could ensure PL status and get WH playing the way they think (or their fans at least) they should be playing? Add, on a budget, to that. Perhaps Moyes would? I missed the FA Cup Final as I chose to watch Barca v AM. That was fantastic but so it seems the Cup Final was, which is fairly unusual. The CL Final should be good.

My son assures me that when we had NTL pre Virgin his ping was often as low as 1. He likes a particular game he has been playing for years where all of the above matter. The above affect the quality of Skype calls too which matters to my Mrs. He's inclined to change from Virgin (where speeds are usually good) to BT Infinity. I think I can save some money too but wonder if anyone out there has a clue what I'm talking about (I hardly do) and would share their experience of other suppliers in the area. Liverpool were certainly helped by not having European distractions. They blew it by losing to Chelsea not the Palace match. I think they need to learn to play more than one way i.e not gung ho all the time. Perhaps that was down to the managers' inexperience in these situations. I think City are the best all round team and doubt Chelsea would have won it, striker or no striker. Anyway,it's not actually over yet. Rumours have it Sam is on his way so maybe if the players are so pro him, they will play like it. Imagine if they score first!
