  1. Oh dear,it's got to this. I'm off to play in the Scottish Cup.
  2. Oh it?s me you're talking about. Well that's utter nonsense. If last seasons records can be found I'd be happy to bet a tenner you posted predictions after me the majority of times.

  4. I wasn't going to bother. I should haved trusted my instincts.
  5. Is anyone going to Twickenham on Saturday?
  6. Andrew Sheridan went there. An ex colleague who was there at the same time said that whatever age group he played in they never lost a game. He was just so much bigger than everyone else it was just a case of giving him the ball.
  7. I can't go to the Curry Club for several reasons. I didn't realise you were so precious about your thread. I did apologise when I posted. Blame whoever started the game 'hundreds'.
  8. Whatever I predicted counts as the result and score......
  9. Well the Scots allow Berwick play in their league so why not one of their's in the English League. The Welsh do.
  10. Same as the foreign footballers and managers then.
  11. One thing is a near certainty. Regardless of what happens this week-end, I think it's reasonable to assume Ireland will beat Italy at home and possibly by a good margin. So come the last week-end I expect their points difference to be better than anyone else's.They will play the last match of the Championship in Paris needing a win at most to be the champions. With their current coach, I'd expect them to come very close to it. Fact is, it wouldn't surprise me if they were going for a GS. The liklihood is though, that come the last week-end there may be 3 or even 4 possible winners. As Ireland and France play last, they have an advantage. I don't think either of you will win your bets on France and England.
  12. I was wondering where you were GB when it came to this years 6 Nations rugby competition.
  13. 2800......sorry for the intrusion
  14. 1700
  15. Would you clarify please? Do you mean the Irish League or the League of Ireland?
  16. The modified version gives me an uncomfortable feeling.
  17. > Sunderland 1 Southampton 2 > Cardiff 1 Wigan 1 > Sheff Wed 2 Charlton 0 > Man City 2 Chelsea 1 > Everton 2 Swansea 1 > Sheff Utd 1 Nottm Forest 1 > Arsenal 1 Liverpool 1 > Brighton 1 Hull 2
  18. Jeez Mick I didn't even mention the name myself. Besides if you wait long enough everyone will have been mentioned several times. I think I'll arrange a competition to decide who is the Forum's overall favourite Greatest Guitarist. I will have an open (not seeded) draw and everyone mentioned so far and up to midnight tonight will be included. So get nominating if you haven't already.
  19. I've never heard of him so he isn't famous to me. i've seen an ex England rugby internation a couple of times near Goose Green but he's probably not famous to most people, even if I know who he is without knowing him. I think fame is overrated and appears to apply to anyone who gets on the telly when it really should apply to people who actually do something useful.
  20. I hate these so subjective threads where everyone knows who the Greatest Guitarist is, including me (though my entry was based on what my big brother told me years ago). Anyway, here's someone's top 100. Is your's there? http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/100-greatest-guitarists-of-all-time-19691231/kim-thayil-20101202
  21. Chelsea 92 (-3) Liverpool Liverpool 86 (-3) Man Utd Arsenal 85 (-9) Chelsea, Everton, Spurs Man City 81 (-12) Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, Man Utd Everton 78 (-6) Chelsea, Newcastle Spurs 77 (-9) Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle Man Utd 71 (-9) Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle Newcastle 70 (-6) Arsenal, Liverpool This is how the top 8 would finish if they won all of their remaining games except away games to other top 8 teams.Jos?'s little pony would win. I wonder how close it will be to reality?
  22. ????'s loves Sam ....na na na, na na
  23. Who was.......
  24. That was an enjoyable match...every high ball into the air. Just good tactics. Most enjoyable was the Welsh centre trying to take BOD out and having to go off himself. Shoulder injury. Hitting Paddy Jackson after he scored was cheap. Phillips is a dick too but that isn't news.
  25. Just a reminder that the 1st game tomorrow is a 2.30 kick off.
