You may wink H, but the lack of pre tournament hype is refreshing. I'm half expecting England to surprise everyone. They may turn out to be boring to watch but they just might get results. I bit like Ireland but with better players.

  6. Have you thought about how easy or difficult it might be to remember Mifwoon is Jams down the line katie1967? Dec?
  7. Well Woody should worry about me then as I enjoy reading his somewhat OTT posts. As much as I find that I respect the Queen and quite like Phil, it's a bizarre world where people are born into a position of such authority and a lot of other people think it's great. It's actually just silly in my opinion. The royal family is really similar to an ongoing soap opera that people have grown attached to. That's about it.
  8. Hi Jams. If that's what you wish to be called why didn't you make that your user name?

This representative's comment implies that Rio never had an issue with playing with JT or he would hardly have made it. In which case the managers reason for not picking him must still stand. I don't buy into the concept you have to prepare for 'the future' giving that a tournament only comes round every 2 years and in England's case they've been preparing for the future since 1966. Play your best team if you can work out what it is.

  11. Loz Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Why not crowd source for ideas, Alan?? Apart from the 'crowd source' term which is a new one on me and the double question marks, I'd have though if you were stating a new business you would be full of ideas. That's all.
  12. But I AM THE ONE who would like to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. That's this week and part of an annual gathering of the clan to compete for the 16th Dwarf Cup.
  14. I personally think the solution is to paint Iceland in a colour the locals are happy with and leave the interior as it is. Perhaps they could drop the bargain signs from their windows though or at least put the prices on the signs much higher to keep the riff raff out.
  15. That's lunchtime isn't it Maxxi?
  16. What story Snorky?
  17. I reckon GB that will be the least of your worries when you get here. The place is likely to have been taken over by crows and/or cats. Are you coming armed?
  18. My brother is coming to ED tomorrow from the south of France where he lives and he fancies a curry. He did live here for a while a good few years ago. Not being a big eater outer I want to know please if everywhere is busy on a Sunday evening and you need to book. Thanks. PS your vote for any particular venue will be appreciated though the Curry Cabin was the one he ate in a lot in years gone by. He might get sentimental!
  19. You are starting a business and you are asking the forum for ideas. Have I got that wrong?
  20. Bonaome, was that meant to be answer to my question?
  21. Well I wouldn't take what a football coach says too seriously. My son's first coach assured me he would play for England. Well he hasn't. He didn't know that my son was qualified to play for Spain.
  22. Surely that's just dispersing them to ease my guilt Netts?
  23. There's a good chance she doesn't have the right to operate a business from her flat. If you own your flat and it's leasehold then have a look at the agreement. It may contain a clause regarding 'business'. She presumably would have something similar. If so you could use it as a bargaining tool. You keep quiet in the morning and I'll say nothing about your classes, in the nicest possible way.
  24. What?s the most environmentally friendly way to dispose of them? I normally try to avoid them but having collected my son from his house share,it appears we've now got about a years supply of them.
