  1. So would you feel obliged to ban a user for persistently writing about that place?

    Ask Admin

Dear Admin do you feel obliged (legally or otherwise) to remove posts regarding any business if they ask you to? I don't know how you can possibly monitor this on such a large forum.
  3. Why is there a new thread on this subject? Two if you count Ms.Curtain.
  4. http://www.fifa.com/associations/association=arg/nationalleague/standings.html I you can't win the league in one place.............move country. I just looked this league up as I was curious how it was possible for a team to win it and be relegated in the same season. I was a little surprised to see the table for the 2nd half of the season.
  5. I wish him well. He was given a bum deal at Chelsea. I reckon his mandate to change them was suddenly reviewed when those highly paid footballers stopped playing. Amazing they could play after he left. I hope there are less big egos at Spurs and more openmindness to whatever his ideas are. Only time will tell. I am surprised by the appointment though. I'd have thought Martinez would have been perfect for Spurs. He after all got Swansea playing the way they do before Rogers came on the scene.

    Euro 2012

I would now like to nominate myself as the leading football expert on this thread. Well, after *Bob* that is. Having done a detailed pre match analysis yesterday not only did I predict who would score the first goal, I got paid for it. That makes me a professional I reckon. Was anyone else able to go into such fine detail while pre analysing the game? Bet not.
  7. Bit harsh on me MP. I didn't encourage any childish behaviour and my interest in this thread is because I was give a fair few M&S vouchers to spend.
  8. Time for you to disappear UDT..........bye bye!

    Euro 2012

I would say it's difficult to analyse something that hasn't happened yet. Anyway *Bob*, as you obviously know what you are talking about, who should I put my money on tonight?
  10. http://www.cntraveller.com/recommended/food/rooftop-bars-in-london/frank%E2%80%99s-cafe Info on times here
  11. chippy adj -pier, -piest Informal resentful or oversensitive about being perceived as inferior a chippy miner's son [from chip (sense 12)] chippiness n Is this how you would define the word?
  12. I was so sure the Germans would get back in the game at 0-2 down I decided to bet on it. My first bet in ages. Feck. ETA I was sure Fed would come back from 2 sets down and didn't bother betting. Double feck.
  13. What I was really wondering was, is it enough to constitute what you would call a meal or are the portions small?
  14. Huggers Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > this is a local place for local people What does that mean Huggers?
  15. http://www.radionz.co.nz/national/programmes/artsonsunday/audio/2501946/the-laugh-track-eddie-izzard I'm posting this as it's my nephew interviewing him and I've just listened to it as I was curious why GG would start a thread on the subject. I know nothing about EI but he sounds more interesting than I imagined. A comedian who performs in other languages is quite brave. It's an good insight into how he works but if you are a fan of his you probably know all this anyway.
  16. Lordship Lane is a great looking street. It's actually fairly ugly broken up by some nice looking places.
  17. steveo Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No Right. What about Posh Spice? Am I getting closer?
  18. Colin Jackson ex athlete once gave me a bollocking in the loos at Heathrow when I thanked him for signing his autograph of his picture in the paper on a flight from Seville. He had just become world champion and I asked the hostess mid flight to take my paper to him and ask him to sign it. I didn't know she was going to wake him up. Does that qualify as chippy or not?
  19. In answer to the question I'd have to say none. If I were burning my clothes I'd probably leave till last the various customised t-shirts I've been given over the years to celebrate an annual reunion with my brothers. They sort of mean something.
  20. Thomas Micklewright Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > underwear I suppose Are we talking edible vegetarian pants Tom?
  21. You didn't have to confess glasses Ms.B as they are not really clothing. Now you haven't yet mentioned comfortable underwear so perhaps focus on that instead.
  22. I get the gist but I don't really know what 'chippy' means. I thought it was a carpenter! The Urban dictionary wasn't much help. Can anyone oblige? I've never come across people who hated someone they worked with more, than those at West Ham Utd FC who despised Karren Brady. My own observations were that given her 'business woman' image, she wasn't very clever in not realishing that her corporate sales team (probably through fear) were most likely hitting their targets with imaginary sales which would be credited off when things wouldn't be noticed.
  23. That's very skimpy hedges.
  24. That was quick MP. Has it opened already? I must try and keep up. PS Was it good value for money?
  25. Who are these slobs? Would you describe one? I'd like to avoid if at all possible as they don't sound nice. I am not a runner as I think it looks boring and if there is a point to it, it's beyond my understanding. I suppose each to their own. I've done plenty of pointless things in my time, this being just one of them.
