  2. Edited due to losing the will to continue this discussion.

You made a comment about Iceland without ever having set foot in the place. I don't care what place that was but if you weren't there how can you comment on it. Then you defend your comment by saying you were in another one. Maybe you should have that the first time and it wouldn't have sounded so snotty.

You are just trying to defend an indefensible position that you put yourself in, with a silly comment. Now you say you were once in another branch. You didn't say that originally. It just came across to me as being extremely snotty.

  6. The 'Curry Club' is a cover for ex Stazi agents in hiding in ED. If you follow the thread carefully you will sometimes detect a little slip here or there. The rest is just in code.
  7. I don't understand why Gerrard is Capt. As Capt. he is a certain starter and I don't think his form has been too good. I like the guy but I wonder is he past it.

  10. AWR......Official Guidance He has the right to apply. On what grounds did HR say 'no'?
  11. Were you burying your head in the sand Blue?

I've been to Vienna. Lovely city...or so I thought.
  13. I had hope there for a while but City did the sort of thing United have done a few times themselves. Respect to Hart, Kompany, Toure, Silva & Aguero. None for a few of the others. They probably have Everton to thank for the title though which is only a reflection on how David Moyes must be as a manager. I expect I won't be the only one to wish BM luck in the CL Final.
  14. what horror?
  15. Thanks for that spoonsby. It does help.
  16. Are you referring to yourself woody? What's happening? You must be nearby.
  17. I imagine being dealt AA is very unlikely. Say you drew a pair of 6's. Where would you consider that on the scale of pre-flop hands? Thanks for the tips! BTW, what's a 'fish'?

Where do you suggest those on a budget go then?
  19. There is a large petshop in Lewisham which is open on Sundays and has a car park. They do sell fish so presumably fish products too. You could phone them to see if they can help with your problem. Their number is 0208 690 7929.
  20. rahrahrah Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > When in doubt it's usually safe to assume that > there are no trains on any given Sunday. Is this really the case? I'm trying to work out how someone can get to ED from Gatwick on Sunday 27th. What adds to the confusion is that The Trainline suggests a route GA-East Croy.-ED, while National Rail has either go to LB or Clapham J. I didn't know there were any trains from East Croydon to ED. Can anyone confirm that there are please and is the Sunday service to ED from anywhere as completely unreliable as people are saying?
  21. Unless I've misunderstood I thought you implied that KQ was a decent hand to begin with? If you do have a good hand is there nothing to be said for not overplaying it by betting too much and scaring off the others?
  22. I remember someone looking for a 2nd hand car which had to be an automatic. I sent her a PM. It only took her about 3 months to read it. I think if someone offers professional advice for free in response to a question,it's polite to thank them. Frankly though if someone wants an answer, it's far simpler to just direct them to UDT. He will have one and you won't feel the need to be thanked.
  23. Now this was my favourite.
