I thought Cole was particularly poor yesterday. I know he scored a goal but his body language is not that of a centre forward who wants the ball. He trots around like he's going for a picnic. It made me wonder what does he do in training to deserve to be picked. He played for England didn't he?
I thought WH played well for at least the first 30 minutes. It certainly wasn't lump it forward football. Defensively they were caught napping before HT. In the final third of the pitch they didn't seem clever enough to create chances but getting the ball there was usually along the ground. Not sure if Sam can take all the blame if the players don't perform to the best of their abilities. Maybe the players aren't just good enough regardless of budget.
Lullingstone Country Park is about an hour away. As well as walks, there's a Castle and the World Garden. Just up the road from it are Roman ruins.Read about it here
I passed the same Esso as Husker this morning at about 6.30 am and it was full of cars with a queue which blocked cars getting by. This evening I've noticed it was very quiet but it looks like all the pumps I could see as I passed had those yellow things on them that say they are empty.
United got lucky last night not conceding a penalty. I wonder how long Welbeck is going to get to prove or otherwise he is up to scratch. He just doesn't impress me as being exceptional.Meanwhile last season's leading scorer doesn't get a game. And what a talented player Berbi is.
I think people should pontificate away if some lorry drivers earning ?45k are trying to eff up the economy even more. What do bus drivers earn? They carry human goods on a daily basis. If it's ?45k I'd consider a career change.
If there is a god, then there can only be one. So Catholics, Muslims and others all pray to the same chap. Shame some don't realise that what they have in common is greater that what makes them different.
I used to be given this when I was a kid but can't really say I liked it. Sometimes it would be served with custard or even ice cream but I can't get away from the fact that it was there just to take up space on the plate. It wasn't that I couldn't eat it, it's just that it seemed a pointless exercise. It wasn't what you would call satisfying. I know this is a silly thread but I do wonder how anyone could have a taste for it? If so please explain what I missed.I've never bought jelly in my life and I've been around a while.
I'm pleased for Wigan though. I'd like to see them stay up as I like their manager for the style of football he wants to play. Not sure who else I'd like to stay up as they are all fairly uninteresting clubs to me. But if Blackburn do, they I'd have to say well done to Steve Kean. He has taken some flak.
Amazing what losing one prop did. I couldn't see England scoring a try before that. Ruined my day watching it. I blame it all on St.Patrick being Welsh. PS I wonder will anyone be cited? Something went on that the Irish took great exception to.
