  1. On the subject of the thread, given my concerns of Labour's stance on Brexit, I wrote to our MP asking her what would she do in my position. I received an excellent response which included links to everything she voted on. My concern with Labour's current stance of 'putting it to the people', is that they could decide that a supermajority is required in a 2nd referendum for us to remain in the EU. That's why a hung parliament is the best option for me given the SNP and the Lib Dems won't buy into that I'm sure.

I used to work in Esher many moons ago. I remember there were 3 pubs. I don't remember any restaurants. Pub grub maybe?
  6. Hmm. I received an unsolicited email from 'Labour Future' today. Wonder where they got my email address and name from. Any ideas what I might have signed up for that gave them that information?
  7. Hi Jerry, the only person I know of who lives at number 10, tells lies all the time and can't be trusted.
  8. Was playing two new signings a good thing? What did it say to the guys who would have hoped to play?
  9. Sue, how long is it safe to keep in the fridge?
  10. Larger vehicles which can't drive down a street without taking up more than half the road. Find a different route where you don't cause everyone else to have to stop. Dropping litter. You should be ashamed. Tattoos. Just why?
  11. And so the end. A yellow cap for maxxi and Quidsy has run off with the crown. The Finals The Final Table Hopefully see you for the 6 Nations.
  12. My o/h received a similar call today also. If you google it you will see it's quite common currently.
  13. It is actually ok but a highly unlikely scenario. You did almost as well as you possibly could have this morning though..
  14. Well you haven't seen Nobby Stiles then.
  15. Final two fixtures, starting tomorrow. Friday 9.00 am New Zealand v Wales Saturday 9.00 am England v South Africa The bronze match is only worth 2 not 3, as I stated previously. The Final is worth 3 points.

  18. Or you could go for two draws. It worked before I seem to remember!
  19. 3 WP's per match and the usual.
  20. Great win for England and makes you wonder what SA might do to try and beat them. Semi Finals Leaderboard

We are currently in danger of exiting the EU next week. There is no reason for the EU to offer an extension.

BJ seems intent on distracting everyone from the fact that he won't keep his promise to leave the EU by the 31st (or die in a ditch), by 'offering' to allow parliament discuss his WA, if they will agree to a GE in December. Shouldn't they be debating the WA agreement anyway?
  23. Semi-finals coming up: Both at 9am (clocks change this week-end) Saturday England v New Zealand Sunday Wales v South Africa WP's worth 2 for these matches.

  25. Not a good look for the ref. I think his career is at an end anyway.
