Down to the q/finals now, next week-end. The WP (Win Points) increases to 1.5 per match. If a game goes to extra time the final score after it, is what will count. No more benefitting from 'default picks' allowed. Round 4 result: The Leaderboard:

Has anyone done this? If so what was your experience in doing it? Anyone not bothering to do it? I resent that my wife who has been here over 30 years is obliged to though she hasn't done anything about it yet.

URGENT UPDATE......so to speak Two games have so far been cancelled this week-end, England v France and New Zealand v Italy. This is due to possible extreme weather conditions as you probably know already, if you are reading this thread. I don't know how Superbru will deal with this, but suggest that if you haven't locked your picks you put them down as draws. The games will be considered to have been 0-0 draws. Scotland v Japan is another one that might go the same way.

This is an interesting read from someone who voted to leave: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1181711773415755777.html

If you say it isn't, then you are an idiot. Maybe that's it? Either way isn't a good look.

Round 3 is over and Round 4 starts tomorrow with South Africa v Canada. It ends on Sunday with Japan v Scotland. 12 matches and loads of points to win. Round 3 Leaderboard I may expel Mima08 as s/he appears to have stopped playing and it would only deny someone else winning the wooden spoon.
-
Well I'm glad someone got satisfaction from that performance. No Superbru miracles needed yet. We haven't reached the half way point yet.
-
Fix?..

Fix? You won something didn't you RD? It's more useful than a cap!

Round 2 is over and Round 3 starts on Wednesday with France v USA. It finishes on Sunday with France v Tonga. Round 2 scores Leaderboard

Oh they would. You said so yourself. They are blackmailing the UK aren't they?

Where is the source of this assertion that the EU is using access to medicines as blackmail? I've heard the Brexit Secretary state recently that much of Ireland's medicines comes through the UK and indeed the current Home Secretary not too long ago implied that the UK could starve Ireland, as it imports food from the UK. If that's not an attempt at blackmail,I misunderstand the concept.

BJ is behaving in a manner which will attract Brexit Party voters. He's even worse than Fartage. I'm sure it's a deliberate ploy, even if it is disgusting to watch it unfold. Alternatively, diddums could just be worried about all the dosh his buddies might lose if he doesn't leave the EU by the end of October.

By the skin of your teeth Mick Mac #ENGvUSA

Given my Fiji prediction, I'm happy Uruguay won at the end!

But but, it had nothing to do with Brexit....

You also got a 'free' point for the 1st match. It must be karma!

Round 1 is complete. Round 2 starts tomorrow with Russia v Samoa @ 11.15. There are 10 matches in it. It ends with Scotland v Samoa this day next week. And here is the Leaderboard:
-
Welcome Mick Mac. In case anyone is wondering how you managed to get a point for a game you were too late to predict, this is it. Applies to anyone else wanting to join late.
-
Did you write this Bob just to put my RWC thread further down the pecking order?
-
Still time to enter. Where are you Rendal and Mick Mac? Don't forget RD. Still to pick.
-
I read somewhere that Cummings is departing his role on October 31st. I wonder will it be a case of his job there being done, or not being able to do it. The DUP are making shifting positions noises. If they move enough to agree to allow NI to have 'special status', then it's May's deal which may make it through parliament.
