  1. Round 1 is complete. Round 2 starts tomorrow with Russia v Samoa @ 11.15. There are 10 matches in it. It ends with Scotland v Samoa this day next week. And here is the Leaderboard:
  2. Welcome Mick Mac. In case anyone is wondering how you managed to get a point for a game you were too late to predict, this is it. Applies to anyone else wanting to join late.
  3. Did you write this Bob just to put my RWC thread further down the pecking order?
  4. Still time to enter. Where are you Rendal and Mick Mac? Don't forget RD. Still to pick.

I read somewhere that Cummings is departing his role on October 31st. I wonder will it be a case of his job there being done, or not being able to do it. The DUP are making shifting positions noises. If they move enough to agree to allow NI to have 'special status', then it's May's deal which may make it through parliament.
  6. Still time to play though first match is on Friday at 11.45 our time. Superbru has divided the Group matches into 4 Rounds. Round 1 fixtures are as follows: Friday 11.45 Japan v Russia Saturday 05.45 Australia v Fiji Saturday 08.15 France v Argentina Saturday 10.45 New Zealand v South Africa Sunday 06.15 Italy v Namibia Sunday 08.45 Ireland v Scotland Sunday 11.15 England v Tonga Monday 11.15 Wales v Georgia Plenty of attractive looking matches there. Shouldn't that be booing immigrants?

Register here https://www.superbru.com/home/index.php PS Although the game is broken down into rounds, it would appear there is not a bonus point for getting all the results right (what in other previous games was called a Grand Slam Point).
  9. Chrome worked for me too. The problem was with Microsoft Edge which did work previously.

This happened to me this morning. It did allow me to make predictions but not in a user friendly way. Logged in using a different browser and it opened normally. Perhaps someone with more knowledge than me can explain why.

Would someone please remind me of what the benefits of Brexit are supposed to be? And don't tell me it's a plot by the very rich to avoid tax when new EU laws come in to place. I've heard that one before. I'm sure it's nonsense. I've also heard about controlling our borders, money and laws. It can't be those either, surely. There must be something else. Anyone?
  12. Why not go the whole hog and make an offer on the house and garden? You could then resell the house without the garden.

And quite peculiar at this point in time. I wonder why?
  14. The government decided not to supply an affidavit to confirm their reasons for proruguing. I suppose no one wanted to go to prison.
  15. This makes it interesting. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-49661855
  16. Well Ireland are ranked No.1 now, which really shows how inaccurate those rankings currently are. I hope I have to eat my words though.
  17. I've set up another Pool and those of you who have played previously should receive invitations to join. I may have sent 2 to some people by mistake. Anyone who would like to play is welcome to join. Just set up a 'free' Superbru account and search for this pool. This is the website: https://www.superbru.com/worldcup I'll have a look at any rule changes, but for newcomers, you just predict match scores and score points based on how close you are to the result.

It is. But what happens next?
  24. JohnL Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > So will their be a world cup predictor game :) There is indeed. I'll set a pool up nearer the time. I think previous participants will be sent an automatic invitation.
  25. Ha! Ireland will be No.1 if they beat England at Twickenham today! It is today isn't it?
