Has huncamunca been banned? I see he has been deactivated. I just wondered if the cat lovers of ED united to request he be removed?

I know next to nothing about fishing. My interest in the Red Arrow is a curiosity about how a fly gets a name and why it sticks. My Dad used to tie his own flies. One time after a particularly good day on Lough Arrow he and his fishing pal were approached by the local Trout and Salmon correspondent. He asked my Dad what the fly he was using was called and his friend piped up, that's the Red Arrow. Though my Dad invented the fly his friend named it. Anyway the guy wrote an article about this chance meeting and the magazine in that particular issue gave away a sample of the Red Arrow. I still have the magazine though it's in the attic. Must have been published circa 1980. I noticed the name comes up when google'd on a fishing forum and wondered is that my Dad's Red Arrow.

Admin, in your attempts to keep the place tidy, have you ever thought of putting a thread from the Lounge into the Drawing Room? I'd have thought that Slutwalk would be ideal for such a move.

Number 13 is hitting him on the head which caused his hand to hit the ball, so it should have been a pen anyway. Shame you couldn't have produced this new evidence at the time. It would have saved a lot of heartache. PS Henry would have taken the pen and scored. Back to 51.

However when some women get up on their high horses it appears they seem to think they are fighting all men.

If you think that clothes can be provocative then I disagree with you. Provocation of any sort is rarely intended with a good purpose in mind.

Which bit is ignorant? Shag is just a word, as is slut. I don't like either. You'd go on a slutwalk because it means something much more profound. It's ok though cause of something someone said in Canada or somewhere.

Most people dress for others even if they wont admit it. How do you explain why men wear ties? If I had to live at home on my own I wouldn't iron a shirt. I wouldn't shave. Probably stick with the same underpants for a few days. Might not shower. I'd be a slob. I wouldn't want to go out like that though.

I'm a sexual being. Aren't we all. Why the obsession with expressing it if it isn't some sort of inferiority complex you have that you are trying to overcome?

Dress like a slut and you shouldn't get raped. Leave your windows and doors open and you shouldn't be robbed. Get robbed and your insurance will be invalid because you left your windows and doors open. In which case it makes sense to lock them when you are not at home. Is there not a case for not dressing like a 'slut' (whatever that means)so as not to provoke an unwanted reaction?
