Not hypothetical at all. There won't be a deal. Parliament will vote on what happens next if May doesn't call another GE. Enter 'another referendum'. Most MP's do not want to leave without a deal due to the economic consequences.
  2. Is Brazilian Portuguese a lot different to Portuguese Portuguese? My nephew is married to a Brazilian and they have a three year old. They don't live in ED though so may not be of any interest to you anyway.
  3. I was following posts on twitter during the typhoon as my son is in Shenzhen and this was posted there and who knows where ever else. It's like a scene from the comedy movie Airplane.

That was a strange one as he writes his own comments and could have predicted the outrage it might cause in sections of the UK press. A tactic maybe, but to what end I wonder. From what I read the EU got annoyed with the tone of her speech at the dinner which was apparently almost word for word what she had said to a German newspaper beforehand. Either it's my way or the highway. Also in a private meeting with Varadkar the following morning she told him it was unlikely she would come up with a solution to the Border backstop issue before November when the understanding was it would be October. Mind you as there is no 'solution' given she is owned by the DUP, that's not a surprise. I reckon the EU got fed up with the kicking the can down the road routine.

  8. Can anyone who has moved from VM to BT or any other provider in the area, advise if there was an improvement in service? I'm getting a bit fed up with VM.

    Bread

I'm pretty sure there's a more specific thread regarding my query but 'bread' will do as I can't find the other one. For quite a while I've used a breadmaker once a week to make a loaf, which is mostly for the Mrs. The last number of weeks mould has appeared regularly and quickly. It was usually stored in a dark container. Is it the hot weather? I always use the same recipe though the flours can differ. Any suggestions as to how to stop it from happening? Also, an ingredient is dry skimmed milk. I can't seem to find this locally anymore. Anyone know where it can be bought?

May won't even get the 'deal' she's hoping for after the Chequers week-end. For a start they have no solution to the Irish border problem. Even if a watered down deal is achieved with the EU (as any deal IS better than no deal), it will be voted on in parliament and likely to be rejected. This would probably mean a GE. Given the time scale of that, they would have to ask for an extension to Art.50. If Labour offer another vote on the EU options, they might well win an election, in spite of Corbyn. If there's another vote I would think it will be to stay in EU though a lot of damage has already been done to the country, and I don't underestimate the popularity of those shysters Farage, Johnson & Mogg. The result might be close again.

  13. I suspect that in both the US and the UK there has been plenty of 'distraction' politics going on. Why would the US do this now is what I'd like to know? Strange this happens on the same day a 'source' claimed the Trumps received over 3.6 billion paid in two instalments by the Saudi's to renege on the Iran nuclear agreement. You'll find it on twitter @TrueFactsStated if you're interested.
  14. I'm in and straight to the top of the leaderboard. There's only one way to go from there.

  18. Booked a place in Snowdonia for a few days only for the Airbnb guy to say it was already booked but he hadn't updated the info. Any suggestions please? Looking for countryside/scenery but not far from somewhere to get supplies.
