Given the DUP don't want a hard border or a border in the Irish sea, I don't know how they can overcome that. If they go with a hard border it will just show how little they care for NI and they are already in breach of the GFA (Good Friday Agreement)by buying the DUP votes. It's a conundrum which I think will massively affect the whole Brexit outcome. Unless a solution is found there will be no talk of trade deals post Brexit. Agreeing money and EU citizens rights will be easy compared to sorting out this problem.

Settlement can be agreed. EU citizens rights can be agreed. It beats me how they will solve the Irish border question which I hope is where the whole Brexit thing falls over. If their plan is a border in the Irish sea, just don't tell the DUP that. They won't like it.
  7. I've had a good(lucky)week helped by several of you having poor ones. I'm still over 50% wrong overall which isn't good.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/oct/13/no-brexit-deal-treasury-philip-hammond So Phil refers to 'the enemy'. Even though he apologised for using the wrong expression later, wasn't it a strange choice of word in the first place? Now that he has said it, it won't go back into the box. I wonder what was his motive? I find it difficult to believe he said it by accident.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/oct/12/jeremy-corbyn-says-would-vote-remain-second-eu-referendum JC says he voted remain and would do so again. Do you believe that? I'm not so sure.

  12. I've been lucky enough to have been down in Cardiff a good few times for the rugby internationals. I love that the stadium is so close to the centre of town. Definitely my favourite venue probably helped by never seeing Ireland lose there (1 draw). One year pre-match me and my brother were invited to a club's private room/bar in a hotel just by chance. I think it was Neath. Pre-match everyone was very friendly and we were invited to return after the game. Well we did return and the game wasn't a draw. None of the buggers would talk to us. Come to think of it, I probably enjoy beating the Welsh even more than the English. Probably something to do with 1972.

So Labour can't find a place for Brexit,in its top 8 things to discuss at conference. Corbyn is being slippery. Possibly no better than May in that he appear to crave power. Such a shame there is no one to represent most of the people of the country, just selfish loons.
