  6. Just checking to see what interest there is, or isn't, for a 2023 Predictor Game. For anyone who hasn't played it before, it's played via a site/app called Superbru. Points are awarded for predicting the correct match result and bonuses for getting close and the closest to the exact number of points a match is won by. It's easy to play. If you're interested, say so here. Thanks.
  7. I'm not interested in the book or what the press have to say, though it's pretty difficult to avoid it all currently.
  8. Typing something and then looking at it, and it's in uppercase. That makes me swear.
  9. Well done to the Cowboy and thanks for organising DR.
  10. You're not quite out of it DR. There's the 3rd place match as well. So 6 points to win potentially.
  11. Are you on the road to recovery yet Sue?

    Jokes

Five surgeons are discussing what type of person makes the best patient to operate on. The first surgeon, from Belfast City Hospital, says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered." The second, from Antrim Area Hospital, responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is co lour coded." The third surgeon, from Royal Belfast Hospital , says, "No, I really think librarians are the best! Everything inside them is in alphabetical order." The fourth surgeon, from Musgrave Park Hospital "You know, I like construction workers...Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over.' But the fifth surgeon, from Ulster Hospital, Dundonald , shut them all up when he observed: 'You're all wrong. Tory Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains, and no spine... Plus, the head and the arse are interchangeable.’
  13. Difficult to know if his departure is a good or a bad thing for England WC hopes next year.

  16. Probably all true, but that wasn't my question.
  17. I haven't read this properly and I don't have an iphone, but it may help! https://www.mobikin.com/android-backup/how-to-print-whatsapp-messages.html
  18. If Qatar paid through the nose to ensure they got the World Cup, what did they want it for? With the competition upon us, all it seems to have done is to attract negative publicity about the country. I don't get it. What are the plusses for them?
  19. So even a journalist isn't sure of the procedure. Now that Bozo has withdrawn his interest, will his supporters support Mordaunt? I think if this went to the party members, Sunak wouldn't have a chance.
  20. David Gauke has written an article in the New Statesman with a suggestion as to how to trigger an election if Johnson returns as PM. Labour and the Lib Dems should agree not to stand against Tory rebels (in an election) if they support a vote of no confidence. Sounds good to me.
  21. I think I've missed the point here. I haven't read anywhere how people are formally nominated, but there must be some procedure for that.
  22. So, if this correct and MP's were honest, there can't be more than 3 contenders. Of course, if some MP's hedged their bets and promised support to more than one potential contender, there could be more than 3. I think I'd like it if there were 4.
  23. At what point do we know who is running?
  24. Who could the Tories elect as leader that would do them any good? Didn't Johnson purge any good ones there were.
  25. I enjoyed it. I suppose it could be described as a 'feel good movie'.
