  1. I thought United losing Pogba for free was better than that!
  2. Sephiroth Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That 100 really hurts. Because it?s perfect Perfect me arse! Ol' moneybags forgot the rules.
  3. Are you sure No Flies = No Lies, dr? My first thought was that it must relate to the expression 'There's no flies on me/him/her'. Often used within my family.
  4. "It talks about one lady who is quoted as saying "I was looking for a dress for a friend's wedding so I naturally ordered lots of options to try on," and then goes on to saying she returned 7 items. Perfectly reasonable you might say, but then let's look from the companies point" I don't think this perfectly reasonable at all. Perfectly stupid. From the retailer for the reasons you outlined but what customer would want to return 7 out of 8 items and the hassle that brings? Your back to the High Street solution makes sense.
  5. Speaking for no one but myself, I tend to think humans can spoil a good photograph. I know I can.
  6. Why is a greasy spoon called a greasy spoon? Surely a greasy knife and fork is more appropriate?
  7. Any ideas how I get rid of a redundant decommissioned central heating radiator? My car is too small to fit it in it. Do any scrap merchants collect? Off topic I know..........
  8. This always bugs me as I don't really like the usual options. Anyone suggest alternatives to the following: Kind regards, Best regards, Thanks (if appropriate) Nothing, just your name I know it may depend on who you are emailing, but what other ones do you use?

  10. Anyone hopeful there might be a friendly take over?
  11. It was quite a comeback from Lady G. She has the least number of incorrect results over the season too. Thanks for organising again DR. It's a long 'ol season. I can just about handle the 6 Nations. I had a look at what Superbru do with football leagues, and it's pretty similar to the current prediction game. Might be worth considering if the forum isn't taken over.
  12. Wasn't booking a good thing simply just to manage the number of vehicles there at any one time?
  13. Lady G's average this Week = 1 pt per match Matches remaining in season 22. Continue with this average and she will finish with 279pts Medic's average = 0.625 per match. Projected total 0.625 x 22 = 13.75 + 266 = 279.75pts Gulp!
  14. Zombie, an anti war song and a Munster anthem.
  15. diable rouge Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What?!!!!...I'm primarily a Lounge Lizard, where > did you read that?... There's a thread in the About this Forum section. I found out via the Lounge somewhere.
  16. Do you know the Forum is closing down RD? What will become of the EDF Football Predictor? I had a look back at page one of this thread. There used to be a lot of banter back in 2013. Now there's hardly a squeak.
  17. Me too and there's a lot of games in this Round. Hoping for mucho points!
  18. Just click on the little symbols (chevrons?) to the left of the player and that will highlight the player. Do the same with whoever you want to swap with, and they'll change places.
  19. I always thought differently. I assumed they select your 1st choice sub, then 2nd, then 3rd. Subject to it not leading to more players in that area than is allowed. I think his confirms it:
  20. Well, Ian a man of distinction and with good taste. He also happens to feature in the above thread. So he has a good memory too!

  22. 800......Thanks RD!
  23. I had a postal vote and went the scientific route in my selection. Only 3 candidates had their addresses on the ballot, so they got my votes (2 LD's and a Green).

    Rwanda

From what I saw in a report from Rwanda, there is only one building prepared for arrivals and it houses 100 people. This 'news' is a convenient distraction from other less palatable news for the Conservative party and in particular the PM. Mind you, the fact they are thinking like this, is pretty disgusting.
