They nearly blew it yesterday. Still a WIP but have the resources to compete with the SH teams eventually. It will be interesting to see if France are capable of playing like 'France' today given they still have an outside chance of winning the championship. They need to win by a lot of points against an ever improving Scotland.

Is this making a point? I think I've missed it if so.

I've been going there for years and the only thing that has changed (apart from some Doctors)is that it's somewhat more difficult to get an appointment. I phoned yesterday for one and was told to phone back next week 'when the book is open'. I don't know what the system is but it must be there for a reason. One thing I would love to know is what percentage of appointments are missed by 'patients' who don't bother to cancel them? I imagine running any practice is made a lot more difficult by the selfish people who do this.

What other 'top' manager has been sacked from a club other than Real Madrid?

Au contraire, What RD wrote made sense. Wise man says when you are blind you can't see. Hope SA keeps Sunderland up. Regardless of his personality which it seems to me is how he is being judged, he's good at what he does, as limited as some might see it. Leeds, Forest, Wednesday, Derby, Ipswich etc would love to be in the PL.

So the big change as you perceive it is you now have a better manager (one who was sacked from his last two jobs), and better players. Whose arguing with that? It's debateable what SA might have done but he fulfilled his role. Got you up and kept you up unlike many promoted teams. You seem to use the most cliches though I haven't bothered counting them.

Was this when you were in the Championship? ETA Was the last thing you won the 2nd division in 81? What tradition are you talking about?
