  1. > Dulwich Estates have had 3 pubs Reminds me of the two accountants joke.
  2. Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > John Major works for Dulwich Estates! Is that what > he's doing now. > I bet he doesn't raise the rent on local Currie > houses. Are there any curry houses on Dulwich Estate lands?
  3. Not "likely to be burgled" but "likely to make an insurance claim for a burglary".
  4. Loz Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > "Charity raises rent on shop" doesn't quite have > the same emotional effect, does it? Save Herne Hill Woods!
  5. East Dulwich pub scriveners.
  6. Was it Mr Barber who wrote that there were potentially ten thousand invalid signatures. John K
  7. The Herne Hill "blog" has the Dulwich Estate raising the rent of one shop only. Details are on the Hindwoods site www.hindwoods.co.uk It is not a rent increase as can be seen from the sales particulars. John K

  9. Well someone was writing about groundwater contamination, which is why I posted thus: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1590943,1593943#msg-1593943

  11. "A petition can be submitted by any person of any age who lives, works or studies in Southwark" That should rule out most Lewisham residents. Who checks?
  12. A look in to do what? John K

  14. As requested.
  15. Mike, This is the only "picture" I have which is supposed to show "Observatory House". John
  16. Seems straightforward to me as explained in earlier thread. The new lease excludes the rear yard. The rear yard is not adjacent to 2 Ashbourne Grove. The rear yard is adjacent to the Co-Op building. Watch out for a future planning application for a domestic building with many small flats up to the height of the Co-Op roofline. John K
  17. How will estate agents photograph the property frontage?

Did you spot the red line? http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/file.php?5,file=204247
  19. Do you suspect this is already baked into the F.M.Conway 2016/17 work programme?
  20. Mike, Thanks for locating the picture "one3". The sheep are on an undulating field and not on a hill. It's the same old problem with unprovenanced material. It may be possible to work out the position of the field and the orientation of the photograph if that is "Observatory House" on the skyline. John uble is

  22. This land does not form part of the new lease on offer for the HSBC premises. 10 slave-boxes? John K
  23. There is a precedent. You could plant it on Goose Green. Nunhead residents could start a save Goose Green Woods action group if someone tries to remove it.
