  1. T'aint natural I tell you, t'is Witchcraft!
  2. I have been there for a few Sunday lunches and have enjoyed.
  3. David Carnell said - "emexplery" - cool, whatsat? There is a seedy undertow to the Forum, mainly revolving around chocolate biscuits and wine and pork chops. You know who you are ... Emexplery indeed. I had a crush on Hibbs, especially her pert bottom.
  4. David Carnell and Moos are awfully alike in looks and niceness - would it be appropriate to have a crush on both of them?
  5. Anna - In one statement you have turned "crush" into "crushed"
  6. http://www.cerise.f2s.com/womble/memorab/memsoft_files/image035.jpg I would ..
  7. I would of course concider my feelings for the blessed Dulwichmum as being a tad deeper than a simple crush
  8. I have an orange street light right outside my living room window that looks out onto Oakhusrt Grove. It gives a gentle light that lights the room beautifully and thus saves me money and a bit of carbon footprint.
  9. I am currently sharing my flat with a temporarily orphaned Goldfish and a footloose Cactus. No romance there then. I havent had a crush on anyone in the virtual world, apart from Mockney Piers and lets face it, everybody has had a crush on HIM, callous heart-breaker that he is. I have had vague crushes on Forumites I have met ... and then I got to know them a bit better :))
  10. Is this the real secret of the famous MacGabhann chilli?
  11. There is only one Dulwichmum. She irons my smalls and darns my socks and she pays me money for the pleasure. Its her thing. Dulwichmum used to a rent-a-womb lady from Latvia to bare her children and insisted that she have C-sections to avoid the children being malformed by excessive squeezing. Milk powder in large quantities was purchased from China. There are many Dulwich mums as ED is clearly a fertile area and encourages friskyness. I suspect it is the howls and yelps of the copulating foxes that puts ideas into people's minds. Neros has comfy sofas, space for group chat-work and is next door to Jojobebecheaperinmothercare.
  12. Gordon was always a far better Chancellor than he is PM. Still is.
  13. I like the Mum's of Dulwich, they are jolly attractive. I am going to start hanging round Neros I think.
  14. We actually started the Curry Club to answer this very question. After visiting nearly all of them (Surma is next - before we start again). The overwhelming answer is: "Depends what you like" None of the local restaurants are bad. Tandoori Nights, Omrith and now Jaflong have a modern take on the curry thing, Ganapati is a simple Indian cafe that produces lovely food. The rest are farely standard fare to a good standard. Sadly, for me at least, the Mirash is starting to feel a little dated as all of the other restaurants have had a facelift in the last few years and the Mirash has been the same for about 20 years.
  15. You're on first name terms with all of the staff of the EDT :))
  16. Well demographic projections seem to say that we will continue to need new housing, especially of the starter home variety. This being caused by more single person households - which apparently is the trend. This doesnt take into account basic economics. If people cant or wont pay the going to rate, they wont buy.
  17. Hoopers is in SE5 - I used to live across the road ... and down a bit.
  18. Micky Flanagan pushing his kiddie in a buggie on Grove Vale.
  19. "red eyes n'all" - IT IS THE SQUIRREL OF SATAN - BEWARE YE EVIL-DOERS!!
  20. Hoopers would be good - they did us proud last time and do seem to be building the business.
  21. I feel I must ride to the defence of the lovely Maiden that is AllyCat. You caught us just after a large poisonous snake had bitten me on the cheek and AllyCat was merely attempting to suck out the poison. Shame on you for thinking otherwise. Still OK for tonight Ally?
  22. Nice thought. It is true to say that bad service from anywhere will get widely broadcast whereas good service isnt such exciting news. I havent been to the TCC for a while and will try and give it a go.
  23. Yes the new Mags is growing on me. I still prefer "Magdala" to "Magnolia". "Magdala" has a certain spiritual ring to it. "Magnolia" has a certain 1980s living room paint ring to it.
  24. Yup - stand up comedy at The Hob, opposite(ish) Forest Hill station. A few of us are heading up there and then probably down to the EDT for a game of spot the gorilla.
