  1. Seems entirely reasonable. Franklins at 7.30. I too am back on the diet.
  2. I dont know that there is a quick way back from Heathrow during rush hour. You might just have to stick to the main roads and atch up with your friends on the journey back :'(
  3. Looks like 9 or 10 at the moment.
  4. No. It is difficult to know what the precise numbers will be, some people find that they cannot make it after all and some people pop along on spec. Given that it is a Tuesday the general concensus was that booking a table would not be necessary as they were unlikely to be busy. Unless anybody thinks differently?
  5. Ham stock? .... Oh you know the rest :))
  6. Is that a sprout in his trunks?
  7. As are many of the people of ED - which is precisely the point that our Blessed Dulwichmum was trying to make. Particularly lost are those who have the sense of humour of a gnat and think that "irony" is what railings taste like (not you Kel). It is well known that DM sees fellow saints in all sorts if unusual places, but usually just outside Dave's DIY shortly after she has purchased her morning bottle of methylated spirits. This is closely followed by a period of contemplation as she counts the hairs on her palms.
  8. I will be taking Tanya Streeter, world champion free diver. http://www.divernet.com/data/images/1205_iconic_kit_05.jpg Her diving capabilities will come in handy.
  9. Is the Haggis organically reared?
  10. Hmmmm - sounds like a hoot. Could be ...
  11. Oh yes. "The Dog" is the gathering place for the Gentry, when they are slumming it.
  12. I'd be up for a game if you fancy mixed doubles - havent played for ages.
  13. Its smack in the centre of Dulwich Village.
  14. Its the Magdala Pub - just up from the Police station on Lordship Lane.
  15. Sound. Ta.
  16. It depends on the time of day! It could be a real bitch of journey by car. I tend to use public transport. London Bridge to Waterloo and then by tube to Paddington or direct to Heathrow depending or, fly from Gatwick or Luton both of which have a direct train from London Bridge.
  17. If new people cannot get into the market because the price of smaller flats is beyond them then the prices must drop. I think this will be a settling rather than a massive drop. I dont see a massive fall as economic conditions generally dont justify it - i.e. the banks may be feeling a bit twitchy about the credit they have given but there is no mass unemployment. When people can afford to buy, they will. The prices being asked for the GV15 flats are just ludicrous. The development was undertaken just a little too late in the economic cycle I think.
  18. I wont be able to make the Scrabble, but will be able to make the quiz. Do you know what time does the quiz actually start? Ta.
  19. Things that hunt what: Hounds for foxes Cats for mice Terriers for rats Germans for the French
  20. I talk a very quick fu$? and deliver.
  21. Asset you have reacted to this is a far more reasonable way than I would have done. Our November Curry Club trip to Tandoori Nights was similar in finding that the food was mostly good but some of it was rather dry or bland. So, I dont think any of the Indian restaurants are all together brilliant.
