The sight of Mr McGabhan "attempting" to leave the pub early was amusing: "No, honestly I must leave, no, I must go, no, no, please allow me to withdraw gracefully ... ..... a drink? Mine's a beer, thankyouverymuch" Good to also see Allycat and Floating Onion (how are you feeling?), CitizenED, Mark, Georgia and Mr Georgia (yes Georgia we WILL organise the Xmas party), Mockney P and Mrs Mockers(:))), Jah Lush, Bagpuss (I didnt take offence, honest), Bellenden Belle, Brendan and a whole bunch of others that I didnt get a chance to talk to plus the ladies up the corner. Roll on the EDF Curry tasting .. just need to get a date.

Hurrumph! I use the Leisure Centre regularly and find it very acceptable. I pay ?40 a month for the pool and gym which is a bargain. For ?40 I dont expect glittering perfection - but I wouldnt pay ?40 a week for some posh place where I will be doing exactly the same thing - sweating my 'nads off. TVs are back by the way and they now have personal trainers availabe.

How about meeting at the FHT first at about 8 and then seeing if we can get a few more people interested in a curry as the evening goes by? If it happens - Hurrah! If it doesnt, we still have nibbles and can go next week some time - Hurrah!

The numbers for the curry have depleted. I was going to have a mate with me but he has dropped out and Mr Onion cant make it. So by my reckoning that is 3 of us - Sean, Lady Gooner et moi. So - do we still want to do it? The FHT re laying on nibbles and we can always organise a separate visit when more people can make it. What do you think?

We were talking about all meeting a little earler and having a curry at the Ormeth before FHT drinks, which could be the start of a series of curry visits leading to the 2008 "Best ED Curry House" nominations - maybe.
