  4. Would moving the drink to 27 July help? For the record - I cant make it - sniff
  5. I did have to read the title of this thread twice to get its true meaning. I blush to think of it.. Rabbit and carrot casserole - very tasty.
  6. Seriously, whats the problem with breasts anyway? We will soon be trotting off on holidays and those on European beaches will be surrounded by them. Just because the breasts are on view in Nero or the Butchers and happen to be doing what they were designed to do it seems that moral outrage ensues. If somebody is trying to make a point by very public breast feeding, well point proven I think.
  7. I have a lactating donkey that might help solve the problem.
  8. Adrian Lester takes his kids into an Offie? Flog him.
  9. Now, the French. The reason I object to the move of the Channel Terminal to St Pancras is not that it will not be local anymore - but the fact the the Frenchies first foot on our soil is at "Waterloo".
  10. *Hello Keef - can I raid your orange tree please? Ta. Takes OJ and coffee to comfy seat and settles down with one of yesterdays Krispy Kreme donuts. Feell dazed but OK*
  11. Great evening as ever - good to meet old friends and the first timers! I sneaked off at about 12 as people were trying to work out where they were go on to - Sorry - I was feeling rather tired. Still, nice kebab - or so my kitchen bin tells me. Time for shiny breakfast I think.
  12. Ahh - Welcome back Huguenot! I met a very nice American yesterday - he looked just like Prince William. He was well educated and world wise and profoundly disagreed with his President. It gave me some hope.
  13. Um not really. There is nothing that galvanises a local council or the civil services like an MP's letter (a Parliammentry Question or PQ). I agree that the MP has a responsibility to represent their constituency at Westminster - which is preciely what Tessa has NOT been doing. What infra-structure or economic benefits has ED got from the Olympics or the great Casino scramble? Zero. If your MP is not in the Government, he or she can concentrate on local issues. Tessa is focused on serving the government and that means she will not represent her constituency when it runs against governmet policy.
  14. Hear Hear Piers!
  15. Thats my sainted Mother you are talking about Huguenot, Pistols at dawn!! My Mother enjoyed her stay in the Rose Room >:D<
  16. I am on Vodaphone - the signal at my place - opposite The Gree bar on ED Rd is rubbish.
  17. Tsk Keef - you and your Gypsy obsession There isnt a clique! Just a few people who post more than most - because we live otherwise sad and empty lives. The Administrator has actually been a member for just 6 weeks - but he is rather assertive. Come along lovely people. There really isnt a clique. Just wear a pink bobble hat - thats all. >:D<
  18. 229 viewings and no comments? Come on !!
  19. Places small amount of silver in the palm of Gypsy Rose Keef. I am liking the silver tooth - it adds a certain dash!
  20. Less of this chopper related theme. People will talk..
  21. I fear Keef's gypsy look rather frightened the horses - it put the willies up Mrs Dobbin and there's no mistakin'
  22. Mockney - can I have my strimmer back please? Ta
  23. My Mother has stayed there and gave great reports of the rooms above the Florists. Apparently each room has a floral theme. Mum stayed in the "Rose Room" - which was apparently "very nice" - although she did feel a bit peeky during her stay in the Rose Room. The restaurant is actually a room at the back of the florists - again rather flowery in nature. Has anybody else anything to report?
  24. Not really. Checking people to ensure that they are innocent is not the same as saying that they are guilty. I went through a Criminal Records Bureau check because I often work in schools, care homes and other places were vulnerable people are to be found. I have no complaints as I have nothing to be afraid of - except rats and spiders. We cant ignore the fact that there are people out there wishing to do us harm and if they have found a route in then this has to be blocked.
  25. I think "Dulwich as a whole" is a bit strong - certainly "the bottom end of LL"
