  2. Hurrah - another Curry House - just what we need.
  3. Wise words from Huguenot in the wee-small hours UK time. However, dear boy, your statement that: "White Stuff kinda reminds us of young wealthy people who take two ski holidays a year" makes no sense in that one ski holidays would be snow-board holidays and three ski-holidays would be one ski too many Surely? :))
  4. Ha ha ha ha!! Bloody Debenhams! Marvellous.
  5. There was an article in yesterdays evening freebie paper (dont remember which one) about somebody who got badly beaten at West Dulwich station. He had politely asked a younger man to move so that he could get off the train and got beaten up as a result. Scary stuff.
  6. Huzzar! Banks' Mild Ale.
  7. Louisa - what problem do you have with teh success of other people?
  8. There's an ED Paranormal Society?!! Fantastic!! Where do I sign up?
  9. Otters noses? Wolf-nipple chips? get 'em while they're 'ot, they're lovely!
  10. Aha - all become clear. I drove past yesterday and the outdoor area was full of abnormally gorgeous people (as opposed to the normally gorgeous people that frequent the CPT I hasten to add).
  11. "Summer Reads Makes me feel fi-hine blowing through the jasmine in my mi-hind .." Sort of My holiday reading includes: A Florentine Death: Michelle Giuttari Saturnalia: Lindsey Davis In Xanadu, a Conquest: William Dalrymple
  12. There is another PO strike today. Not that we would notice. My holiday details were dispatched on 16/7 - no sign of them. The holiday co suggested checking with the local sorting office, so I will pop along tomorrow!
  13. Is anybody else having problems with late/non deliverie sof their post? I am waiting for 4 specific items which I know were posted up to 3 weeks ago and have not arrived. I have spoken to the Royal Mail complaints line who said that they would ask their local manager to monitor things. Is it just me or is it a trend? I am in Altima Court on East Dulwich Road, opposite Greens Bar and Restaurant.
  14. God bless you Comrade. In an opiate for the masses kind of way.
  15. We never did bottom out the initiation rites - although the reported lost pig does give me an idea...
  16. Like Marmite, like (crunchy) peanut butter, like marmalade - like rhubarb marmalade lots!
  17. Perhaps it was a Police-drug-sniffing-pig that escaped from the recent drug-factory bust thingy? If they can find truffles then I am sure that a bit of pot would be a doddle.
  18. Not like the old days, they knew how to hold a class war then .. Tanks on the lawn in a minute, block votes at Conference in Blackpool Winter Gardens followed by a good old singalong with Billy Bragg, strikes a go-go and working for just 3 days a week. Happy times No employment, power shortages and alot of misery - but happy times
  19. Well, that killed that one stoned dead then! If only all class wars were won this easily
  20. Welcome back moi deario - did you get wet?
  21. *WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA - Its been peaceful for literally weeks and that mad woman comes back from her vacation in some sun kissed paradise and sets her flea-bitten mutt on my privits, sends my much cherished donkey to Australia - in chains and starts showing round her latest Razzle shots !!!* *Welcome back DM - missed you XX*
  22. I had a business meeting there many years ago when I was managing a business development grant. They imported, personalised and distributed watches, etc. Quite nice having a meeting 5 minutes walk from home, rather than a thousand miles away for a change.
  23. Yup - the Law Society will get them moving if all else fails.
