Perhaps the current crop of MPs are merely reflecting the current electorate, and I can only see it getting worse with social media. Who'd want to me an MP only to be constantly mocked, and/or subjected to misogyny, racism, homophobia etc. I can't get access to read all of this article, but it's clear the point the author is making... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/07/16/treat-mps-contempt-contemptible-will-apply-job/
  2. They did, Cilic was 2 sets up and had at least one match point, but Fed then stormed back to win 3-2...
  3. Nadal's match has been the best so far, even though I wanted him to win...as did my betting slip! Federer has been pure class though, taking that 6 month break has paid dividends, perhaps Muzza should take heed...

Interesting comments today from Blair... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-40615119 I never quite understood why Cameron didn't go back to the EU after the Referendum, and propose that there needed to be some reform on immigration. Instead he couldn't get away quick enough. McDonnell's comments don't surprise me, both he and Corbyn see Brexit as a back door to their Utopian Socialist idyll...
  5. But what happens if someone is wrongfully convicted, will there be a magic 'Undo' button?...

Emily Thornberry's quip at PMQ's about May placing suggestion boxes around Parliament was very good. Labour should leave well alone, let the Tories carry on displaying their ineptitude...

Every firm I've worked for has had a shindig for the staff of some sort, I suspect most firms do e.g. the office Christmas party. It's a basic staff morale boosting strategy...

Isn't he 'International Trade' Minister, yet can't do anything until Brexit actually happens? So in the meantime he just sorts of flits about a lot, like an annoying mossie you want to swat. Come to think of it, he does have a bit of a hum when he speaks...
