  1. Extreme fatigue in a perfectly healthy person can lead to errors/mistakes, there doesn't have to be an underlying medical condition to make a cock-up...
  2. It did indeed start on the 6th but the OP is clearly taking the proverbial out of her rather than guessing/showing concern about her condition. A couple of subsequent posts carried on in the same vein. Posters guessing/showing concern for her health started on the 7th, hence why I quoted that date. Those closest to her, family/friends/colleagues need to ask themselves could they have done more, especially those who were aware of her condition, instead she was allowed to carry on...
  3. With Ferrari and other shock jocks of his ilk, you know exactly beforehand what he's going to be like if he gets a sniff of something. Forewarned id forearmed etc. Posters on here were guessing about her physical/mental state after she announced she was temporarily standing down from campaigning (June 7th), not at the time of the car crash interviews. Hindsight is a wonderful thing...
  4. I don't see how you can ask the interviewers to have a word with themselves,it's part of their job to pick up on errors/cock-ups etc, and like the rest of us they didn't know about her condition...
  5. Dembele is a good shout. Mourinho likes his strikers in the Drogba mould and Dembele is certainly that...

He may have been given some training for the TV debates, but I agree Sue, out on the campaign trail, hustings etc, he's a natural, years of experience, something May doesn't have...
  8. Lost in the brouhaha of last Friday's election results, the transfer window officially opened. So football comrades (and Quids), what positions/players do you think your club needs to buy in/get rid of etc? For MUFC I would like to see a decent centre half (looks like we're signing Lindelof from Benfica, no idea if he's any good or not), a long term replacement for Carrick (Tony Kroos would be nice Santa), and a couple of strikers who know where the back of net is. Would like Kane but that ain't going to happen, Morata from Madrid looking a done deal but not sure he a 20-25 goal a season striker. Wouldn't mind seeing Chicarito return...

FFS he actually used 'will of the people', I would've thought after the GE even the most hard-bitten Brexiteer had consigned that one to the dustbin...

Before the election May was quite popular, certainly had much better approval ratings that Corbs. It was her appalling campaigning style that done for her, she was a fish out of water. Corbs on the other hand is a lifelong campaigner and was totally in his element. The Tories need someone much better at campaigning, and the only one I can think of who has a recent track record is Boris...

Can anyone remember what the final EDF election poll figures were? From memory around 61% of EDFers were intending to vote Labour, but in the GE is was over 69%. Just wondering how representative the EDF is of the area... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/constituencies/E14000673

I see him as a Chateauneuf du Pape drinker. From ancient Roman origins, this wine has passed through the lips of Popes and the Bourgeoisie, and now onto the untreated oak tables of East Dulwich. Based on terroir et perforce, the minimum 4 year old vines are harvested lovingly by hand only. Upon drinking, the flavours of fresh red and black cherries, strawberry, kirsch, black pepper, black raspberry, spice, earth and garrigue, burst onto one's palette. Lush, lusty and luscious! 12.5% Volume; 750ML. Comes in a natural bouteille en verre vert measuring 300mm high; 106mm diameter at the base; 30mm diameter at the neck. Complete with natural cork stopper, a rare find indeed!...

Indeed jenny, there's a cabal of Tories i.e. Fox, Gove who are hell bent on a Hard Brexit/No Deal, at any cost. They have and continue to pull May's strings, she was the convenient acceptable face of their version of Brexit, a Remainer following the so called 'will of the people'. Right now they'll be planning who can be their next decoy...
