With all due respect, the Brexiteers will fook it up all very well by themselves. And what about the democratic will of the people to change their mind now that the economic and social reality of such an ill thought through vanity project is starting to bite? Unless someone is in their late 80's no one on here will actually remember the Jarrow march, so not sure what your point is in saying that. Although I suspect titch does know about it because he was taught or read about it. As for a march by Brexiteers to dwarf the Jarrow march in scale, do me a favour, we heard a similar pronouncement by Farage, that 100k would descend on the Supreme Court, instead all we got was a motley crew of nutjobs. Shall I put you down for the next one?...

The sooner we get out of the EU, the sooner the price of Elf Adventures Activity Sets will come down and be affordable to the Great British worker. Don't buy them, support your local elves!...
  5. Whoa Meds! What a fantastic turnaround, bottom to top in a week. Fully deserved your win with those last two predictions. Thanks for organising too...
  6. It was a strange decision to include it in the manifesto. It would've never made it past the free vote stage in Parliament. As for gaining votes, very limited demographically, certainly flies in the face of her 'will of the people' schtick...
  7. Likewise if the Tories deliberately ousted May, let Corbyn deal with Brexit and the economic fallout, blame him, and in effect there's a clean slate for a new Tory Gov post-Brexit...
  8. They are different events robbin, separated by 'a few weeks'...doh!
  9. Mick, how many titles could Rangers be stripped of, and what effect would that have on Celtic's consecutive title wins?...
  10. I'm guessing Mick is keeping quiet about Rangers humiliation last night, as Celtic had their own hiccup last season against the minnows of Gibraltar. So in his absence let me say to the tune of The Billy Boys... Ha Ha! Ha Ha! Haha Ha Ha Ha! Ha Ha! Ha Ha! Haha Ha Ha Ha!
  11. A bigger bugbear is when someone quotes the whole 4-500 word message and then adds a comment a few words long that's only relevant to a small part of the quoted message. Self-edit you lazy fookers...
  12. Wimbledon betting this year is unusually very open, Fed @ 2/1, Nadal @ 4/1, Djok @ 5/1, and Muzza @ 11/2 (Paddy Power). Since most of the Slams are won by one of the Big 4, could be worth covering several of them...
  13. ...ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
  14. It's that time of the year again when grown men who should know better, pull out their old Sergio Tacchini tops, embarrassingly too tight and slighty grey shorts, Dunlop Green Flash pumps and colour coordinated head and wrist sweatbands, and head off to the local park clutching a pair of furry balls. Over to you Quids... :)
  15. I jumped back 10 years by clicking on the 'Go To...Last' link on the Lounge thread headings page, it wasn't too far away, and a couple more clicks later I was there. Not as much fun as using the flux capacitor, but there you go. I could hear Rihanna's "Umbrella" earworming away as I gazed at how exciting the threads were in those days. In fact it's inspired me to start this year's Wimbledon thread...
  16. A lot of talk pre-Under-21 tournament about how England players such as Kane, Alli and Rashford should drop down and play in order to get experience of tournaments and hopefully gain a much needed winning mentality. Meanwhile, Germany sends their under-20 squad to the tournament and wins it, whilst their Under-21's win the Confederation Cup, whilst their first-team squad suns it up on the beaches. Deutschland ?ber alles...
  17. Plus ?a change (phrase of the month)...10 years ago...http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/list.php?20,page=543 The 'Topless Bus' thread showed potential, but sadly didn't have the legs...
  18. There are similar experiences in the business section, no replies, no shows etc. It's a crap way to conduct business but the thing is not to take it personally. You don't know them, they don't know you...
  19. ...:)
  20. Can i just add that if ringing any 03, 08 numbers, that you check with your provider first that they are included in with your minutes. I got stung for over ?50 by ringing an 08 number that wasn't included. Some 08 numbers were, some weren't...
  21. Things are looking up, at least it was better than yesterday's U-turn on a U-turn : I see that Corbybabes had his own revolt today, front benches sacked for disobeying the whip...tut tut I can see Brexit ripping both the Tories and Labour apart...
  22. Is anyone else disappointed that it wasn't an actual pig peeing in the street?...:)
