Very good Foxy, now stop throwing your money down the drain and get yourself a SIM deal tarrif with EE...
  5. A dado rail would've originally run up the staircase, but I don't think a picture rail did...if they did it would've been difficult to hang any pictures on them :) What tends to happen is the the picture rail in the hall stops by running into a pillar or ornate cornice, usually in line with the wall separating the front and back reception rooms. Some houses don't have ceilings high enough to get the proper effect, maybe yours fall into this category? Post a pic of your hall/staircase, difficult to comment without seeing what it looks like...

Foxy, if you're not tied into your contract and happy with your current phone, you should move onto a SIM deal with EE. I was on the same tarrif as you, and once my fixed 2 year contract was over I moved to a similar SIM deal for only ?12/month... Oh, it's 4G too...

I'd try and find out if GG gets a decent reception in your area, no point in using any supplier/tariff if their reception is crap...
  9. My post was in response to your post, not Otta's...
  10. Me too, they had a wobbly spell when Origi came on, but other than that, it was a defensive/counter attack masterclass...
  11. Tell him he needs to toughen up, the Germany result was much worse :-) I thought Kane was poor too, looked off the pace. Rooney had a great game but the Ruskies midfield was poor, can't see him getting that much space and time against better teams. Sterling can't cross for toffee, don't know who you would replace him with, that's why I would've taken Townsend as an option. Rashford has played out on the right wing for Utd's U21's but a big ask...
  12. UEFA's warning to England of expulsion is a joke. Prior to the England game their jurisdiction was limited to what happens inside grounds. Outside it was down to the police/local authorities/courts etc to take action. They've now moved the goalposts just to have a pop at England. At least the French prosecutors are now saying that most of the trouble was down to highly organised, premeditated attacks by a hardcore of Russian hooligans...

  14. Youth is being given a go, it's the youngest squad in the Euro's and also the youngest England competitive tournament squad for 58 years. Discussion over...
  15. 400...
  16. Me too...un point
  17. France have so much talent going forward, but their defence looks worse than England's, going to be a roller-coaster ride for French supporters. A good opening game and a fantastic winner...
  18. That might be construed as stealth advertising for one of the market stalls...;-)
  19. The number 12 bus (bus stops on Barry Road) usually goes up Whitehall but it'll be on diversion because of TTC, I would've thought it would still stop somewhere in the vacinity, and you can walk the rest, probably the quickest form of transport on the day. There's no guarantee that a player from those leagues will be a success. There's no magical formula, no mythical production line. French and Dutch league players have been plying their trade here for decades. I would argue Saints' recent success has been more down to home grown talent, most of the players they've sold have been English. Anyway, DaveR's post ended by saying Saints had identified the French and Dutch leagues as 'best value', Saints were merely cutting their cloth to suit, that may well change with the new TV money. Spurs might well go down a similar route as they have to finance the cost of building a new stadium. Agree DR, there's always been a food chain, and with the new TV money, PL clubs will move up that chain...
  23. Signing French and Dutch league players didn't do Newcastle any good. There's a whole load of factors that need to be considered, and who's to know whether a player will settle in a new country/culture or not...
  24. There are 36 matches being played over the coming fortnight, which can be broken down into 3 rounds. I will list each round of 12 group matches as a reminder, and post the latest table after each round. Still time for oldies and newbies to join in. Bonne Chance! Round 1 fixtures... Friday 10th June 2016 France v Romania Saturday 11th June 2016 Albania v Switzerland Wales v Slovakia England v Russia Sunday 12th June 2016 Poland v Northern Ireland Germany v Ukraine Turkey v Croatia Monday 13th June 2016 Spain v Czech Rep R. of Ireland v Sweden Belgium v Italy Tuesday 14th June 2016 Austria v Hungary Portugal v Iceland
