  5. My thoughts exactly. And if Mein Fuhrer doesn't think your face fits, then what?...
  6. Wilshere, Henderson and Sturridge are all unfit and extremely lucky to be included. When we've gone to tournaments before with unfit players it's usually backfired. I don't think whether a player is more talented counts for anything if they're unfit, have we not learned from Rooney in the past? I would've gone for Townsend instead of Sturridge, he's got something different, can play out wide, dribble and beat players, good free-kicks. We don't have any naturally wide players now. Also would've had Drinkwater in for Henderson. He has a good understanding with Vardy and the runs he makes for long through balls. The biggest concern though is the defence, we haven't got one...

Yes, if there was this 'transfer committee' he would've been part of it, but your initial post implied they were his signings alone, whereas the reality may be that he didn't want certain players but had to bow down to the majority decision...
  11. Wasn't there a 'transfer committee'?...

If it definitely happens, going to have to PDF a lot of the recipes...

I don't think it's come from the club, more likely Mendes (Mourinho's agent) who fell out with LvG over Falcao and Di Maria. It had also been reported in the Spanish press on Saturday morning. When Utd change the manager they are obliged to make a statement on the NYSE first. Mick, I'm not a big fan of Mourinho, but he doesn't equal boring negativity. He only has to look at LvG's experience to see that Utd fans won't put up with that type of football in the long term. Who would you have employed? When it comes to top quality managers, the cupboard is bare at the moment. I'm more worried about his whole demeanor and behaviour. I expect an initial charm offensive, then the usual fireworks. Hopefully being at Utd he will rein it in...
