  3. I wasn't suggesting he would go to Barca from Everton, merely he will see it as a stepping stone to that goal. If Everton did 'a leicster', then that's another story. Indeed he has taken a risk going to Everton, staying at Saints was the easier, safer option. But I admire him for that. I think if he does well at Everton he's proven that he can handle a bigger club where the expectation and pressure to do well is much higher than at Saints. I'm pretty sure that clubs like Arsenal will be watching with interest to see how he performs at Everton. From an Arsenal perspective, there's less risk in hiring him if he's done well at Everton, than waiting a season or two to sign him from Saints. As with most things in life, hindsight will eventually tell us if he was right or wrong to leave Saints...
  4. That's all a bit harsh on Saints. It's very hard to keep a player if he wants to go, likewise a manager. Koeman strikes me as a very ambitious, and probably covets the Barca job, and sees Everton as a stepping stone towards that. Don't be surprised if he does well at Goodison, for a couple of seasons, he then moves again...

  6. Balloon modelling? Get real Foxy. We're talking My Little Pony..for real! It's like stag do's. Gone are the days when you went to the Nag's Head with your mates, got leathered and ended up tied to the nearest lamp post naked. Now we have long weekends shooting wild boar in the Black Forest* One-Upmanship is everywhere I tell ya... *Tied naked to a pine tree whilst being whipped by a buxom Fraulein in Lederhosen...see website for additional costs
  7. A stone? Luxury! I had to make do with grit* *Pronounced greeet Disclaimer: Any similarity to the Monty Python Yorkshiremen sketch is purely coincidental
  8. I'm loving the confectionery TNT, perhaps the bespoke party could incorporate an IS training camp as it's theme, all that fresh air will do them good...
  9. I'm with you on the formation and not playing Kane and Vardy together, hopefully Roy will not try to accommodate them and Rooney, it just doesn't work, and as you say, we definitely need Rooney's experience, leadership and guile. I think Smalling has had the best season out of the 3 centre backs, so him and either of Cahill/Stones. I don't have a strong leaning for the full backs, Rose and Walker are more attack minded, and as we have no natural width up front their selection makes sense. But I'd go for Rose and Clyne as I thing Walker always has a mistake in him. The only other difference I'd make is having Sterling in for Barkley, in fact I wouldn't have picked Barkley for the squad. Yes, on his day he's very good, but his form in the second half of the season has been poor. He looked over-muscled and very laboured in the friendly against Australia, needs some conditioning training. Defensively we are suspect as a team, but we have lots of exciting attacking options to come off the bench, so hopefully we'll see an England team that at some point in the games takes the handbrake off and just goes for it...

  11. I've tried the print command and it prints out the predicted scores but not in the concise format shown on the screen. Have you tried taking a 'screenshot' or 'snipping' to create a jpeg, that's what I do for the result tables...

  17. According to that Wiki link Ali went to Frazier's funeral which tends to suggest that his family had forgiven Ali. If other people still think taht episode taints his legacy that's up to them. For me he was the greatest sportsman who also transcended sport. Not only was he a positive role model for black kids, he was also a role model for white kids, everybody wanted to be Muhammad Ali...

And what you actually witnessed was 'SJ the DJ' just coming back from banging out tunes at an under the arches all-nighter in Vauxhall. ...and the rest :) I don't mind admitting I'm a recreational user. I like to dabble every now and then, mostly during the week. *Bob*'s always good for a quick snort during a quiet spell at my desk, it's my 'water cooler moment' I'm in control though, I know I could just walk away when I feel like it...*sniffs* I once went 8 months without a snort. Didn't plan it, it just happened, got out of the habit. I guess that makes me a habitual user. The biggest problem is finding a decent supplier of speed in the area. I speak to my supplier, an Indian, and he blames it on too many users in the area, they can't cope with the demand. Where's Zammo when you need him?...
