  1. Chinese Burns...
  2. The dudes in the houseshare were the blandest of the bland, they lived somewhere like Reading...obvs Steph n Dom are definitely pros and making the most of it, apparently they previously appeared on the B&B swap programme (4 in a bed?), and they've had their own spin-off prog too since Gogglebox. I didn't think the makers of Gogglebox approved of the participants cashing in like that, as the Essex guy (George) went on to Celeb Big Brother and promptly got booted off Gogglebox, although he has since returned this series. Likewise the Michaels when Dad tried to get elected for UKIP...
  3. Seabag Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Carp prefer a bit of pizza on the hook RD Don't worry, I've got a nice, big, juicy whopper in my bait box, that's just primed for Loopy to sink her dentures in to it. Did you know that fishermen, often before putting a maggot on their hook, pop it into their mouth to warm it up, apparently this makes it wriggle more, and therefore more likely to attract a passing predator. I hear Mr Loopy has recently taken up fishing...
  4. Credit has to be given to Emery, he made a good tactical change after half-time. Sevilla were getting overrun down the right hand side in the first-half, with Clyne bombing forward a lot. That stopped in the second half...
  5. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What the hell happened to the team that played the > first half? Liverpool were embarrassing second > half. I think Liverpool's problem is that they can't play the high tempo pressing game for the full 90 mins. I've seen them before blow-up after about 75 mins. But for some reason, maybe adrenaline and the occasion took over, they run out of gas by half-time...
  6. Oh the irony!...
  7. You just did...

  9. The final tables. Once again, congratulations to PD. Bad luck Foxy, you did very well for a first timer. Week 36 points... Week 36 table...
  10. Hopefully they do the same for the CL final too...
  11. JM's teams haven't always played negative football. His first Chelsea team of Robben and Duff were very attack minded. Real Madrid too, hard not to be with the players he had. The first half of last season Chelsea were playing entertaining, attacking football. So I don't think it's a given he would bring negative football. He knows it wouldn't go down well, so I think he would adapt accordingly. Personally I don't understand why LvG would be given more time, unless the plan is to replace him with Giggs, and if that's the case why haven't the club made a statement to that effect to dispel all the JM talk? The fact that they haven't made a statement is telling. I think the club would've sacked him already were it not for the possibility of CL and the FA Cup run. They've kept quiet so the players didn't switch off like City. I'm convinced he'll be gone after the FA Cup final, and amazed if he stays. Why let a manager run down the final year of his contract like that? Doesn't make sense unless Giggs is the heir. I like Koeman, probably next best after JM...
  12. Always the victim, it's never your fault...
  13. Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Are you still sure JM is going to be United's next > manager RD? Sorry Meds, missed this. Yes, esp as CL now not possible. If we win the FA Cup that shouldn't save LvG from the chop. I know Mourinho has baggage, but anyone else would be a big risk...
  14. Yes, well done PD, our first back to back winner, not easy. Final tables will be up after Tuesday's rearranged game. Stay tuned for the Euro's '16 game...
  15. DulwichFox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > So we get to play Newcastle next Season. Bring it > on.. You need to get to the play-off final first Foxy. Will you be going if you do? If you do you should take Moonster, convert her back :)...
  16. Nothing jammy about Arsenal Jah. Spurs blew it, simple as that. They lost the plot as soon as Hazard's goal went in. Even MoPo had been showing signs of pressure by thumping the floor at Stoke and Chelsea. That's when you needed a bit of experience in your squad. The question is, will Spurs' young squad learn from it, or will it leave long term mental scars?...
  17. :) That is brilliant work...

  19. Closest I got to CTID territory was a friend who lived off Parkside Road, just down from Maine Road. Would only visit under the cover of darkness...
  20. The journo Henry Winter's Prem League IX... (4-3-3): De Gea; Bellerin, Morgan, Alderweireld, Rose; Mahrez, Kante, Payet; Kane, Aguero, Vardy. Can't disagree with that, would like Alli in there, but who do you drop, maybe Aguero giving a 4-3-1-2 as both full backs like to bomb on...
  21. See, the 'Leicester effect'!...
  22. mancity68 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > My next door neighbours back garden. Bloody huge > and hangs over our garden dropping leaves and > catkins continuously...... Not that I'm bitter! You're a Bertie, of course you're bitter... ;-)
  23. Plus getting them to the FA Cup semis. Maybe it's the 'Leicester effect'. But I suppose he knew what he was getting into, after all they sacked the manager that got them promoted...
  24. I thought it was mutual, as he's supposed to be interested in the Valencia job...
  25. The final week. Will Parky become the first back to back champion? Will Foxy rediscover his mojo? Will Otta avoid the embarrassment of finishing below Moonster who quit months ago. As it's the final set of matches, with not much to play for, expect a lot of unusual results. Week 36 fixtures... Sunday 15th May 2016 Arsenal v Aston Villa Chelsea v Leicester Everton v Norwich Man Utd v Bournemouth Newcastle v Tottenham Southampton v Crystal Palace Stoke v West Ham Swansea v Man City Watford v Sunderland West Brom v Liverpool
