  1. And some people say online banking is dangerous! When was the last time someone popped out of your screen and pointed a shotgun at you?

Nero It only has a very small effect if you're judging on an individual basis. Leaving your phone charger plugged in 24/7, 365 day p y will, in monetary terms save you ?3 a year (god knows how much energy that is!). But if the whole nation did it...
  3. Oglandia's comments date from the beginning of August. Does anyone have comments on my Heber question? Muttley's response was much appreciated.
  4. Louisa can.
  5. My eldest daughter will be starting school in a couple of years, so we're booked in to visit some of the local ones. We read the last Ofsted report for Heber (2005) which suggested that the school was vastly improving, but there were concerns over the level of teaching in Years 1-2. Obviously the report is now a couple of years out of date and feedback I've heard locally and on this forum is very favourable towards the school. At the back of my mind though is a nagging concern about these entry classes. Two years is a long time in the life of a school though, so I would like to know if there are there any parents out there who currently have children in, or recently out of, these years at Heber who would be able to pass comment for me? Thanks in advance.
  6. I will bring my copy of High School Reunion 2.
  7. Sshhh *Bob*, they don't like to make a big deal of it!

  9. This thread has "Jumped the Shark", the lounge beckons.
  10. Can't access from work? That must surely contravene the Human Rights act?
  11. Yes they are.

Can't we just let it lie for once?!
  13. You're quite right. I shudder to think of a sixty-something-year old man screaming "Squeeze my lemon, until the juice runs down my leg".
  14. You might as well go and see a Sex Pistols tribute act as they are clearly a sad pastiche of their former selves.
  15. God, it's only 6 games into the season and I've had to play my wildcard already!
  16. I now see that the Sex Pistols are playing this year too. The most dangerous grandads in town. Is re-forming the new splitting up?
  17. And to top it all you would have to sit through Paolo Nutini and Foreigner before the crinkly Zeps even make it on stage!
  18. This is a fine example of why we need a level beneath the Lounge. scor46 you are charged with commiting crimes against humour and from henceforth will only be allowed to post messages in the Dungeon!
  19. If I finish bottom do I get relegated to the Camberwell League?
  20. Keef mate, you really need to put your foot down there. It's Fantasy Footy after all!
  21. Low scoring points?! How very dare you! I've just had my best ever week I'll have you know...
  22. Pity, he's a really friendly guy. What's the OKR got that LL is missing?
  23. Go to the dump in West Dulwich, they have a box for books.
