  1. This thread is cyclical, we'll be back to James Nesbitt in a few more posts...
  2. If the alternative to looking dull and bland is this: http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e295/claireholden/stuff/timmysessionsept20022.jpg then I will be shopping at White Stuff for the forseeable future.
  3. I thought he was supposed to be at an EU summit?
  4. Maybe he was distracted by some youths having a fight...
  5. Dreeeeeeams can come troooooooo, look here baby I'm gonna something scoobee doobee doo You know you love it
  6. I heard that all the Soho record shops are going out of business.
  7. A coffee shop, whether independant or chain, would make a killing in that location.
  8. Were you listening to Morrisey on the 8.35 train this morning?
  9. Might take a DDB (double-decker bus) to work tomorrow so as to avoid the LRT (late running train)
  10. and some sausages from WRB
  11. "at the end of the day..." :X
  12. I thought "chav" was a particular kind of person, not just the working class in general.
  13. Alan Dale Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Dick van Dyke in My Fair Lady? Completely silent. > He's mixing his musicals. Dick Van Dyke was in Mary Poppins not My Fair Lady. That was Rex Harrison.
  14. Don't worry, I'd taken that as read!
  15. We can deduce one of two things from the title of this thread... 1) Keef has himself a stalker or 2) Keef has himself a new username ;-)
  16. Naughty ratty, expect a visit soon from the Thought Police.
  17. Some friends of mine stayed there a couple of years ago. They had no complaints.
  18. Perhaps you could charge a small fee for a tour? Going by the number of interested parties there seem to be you'd soon have that big old mortgage paid off!
  19. Anyone fancy meeting up this weekend for some Pram-Raiding? We could go on convoy down Lordship Lane, sneering at paupers and bouncing the elderly into on-rushing traffic. We would finish off by re-claiming the pubs from those oiks who have the temerity not to have children of their own. Back on thread though, this trendy new coffee place sounds jolly good.
  20. Marriage, that's where it all starts MP, it's a slippy slope from there on in. The last staw was when my then 1 year old started picking them up and chucking them on the floor, causing boxes to smash etc! Storage space is also at a bit of a premium now. It helps that I'm not too much of an audiophile and can happily listen to an MP3 ripped at 128kbps and not worry that I can't hear Ringo coughing during the bridge.
  21. I broke my life-long addiction to CD hoarding and now no-longer have any albums on physical format. It was a tough thing to do but ultimately therapeutic. I can now walk past a music shop without needing to go in a spend lots of money.
  22. For the first two albums think grunge rock a-la-goth. Third album (Howl) is all rootsy Americana, surprisingly good. New one goes back to previous format.
  23. I love the Stones from Beggars Banquet to Exile on Main Street. Stuff beforehand is alright, stuff afterwards is no good to me. Exile on Main Street is one of my all time favourite albums, just behind Cheeky Girls vol 1.
  24. Anyone like BRMC? NOt too sure on the new album, but Howl was ace.
  25. Hammer of the Gods was a real let down. I thought it was meant to be really controversial, it just came across as one man with his tongue firmly inserted inside Jimmy Page's rusty sheriff's badge. Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis is well worth a go though. I must say I'm quite tempted by a previous poster's suggestion of that Rolling Stones Exile on Main Street era biog.
