If that article is correct one would be wise to dump stirling and buy euro's.

The guys in uniform often reject government issue and buy better quality with their own cash, and they are not well paid. Not many people know that.

Have pm'd you.

It wasn't so long ago that a Nobel prize winner would have worked for a lifetime to achieve such acclaim. Shoving this prestigious award in his hands must be one of the most embarrassing parts of his short political life. I don't suppose he could refuse it, but he obviously felt uncomfortable about it. Like Ladymuck said it seems we gave it to him for being the first black president of the US. When many others have proven track records of doing great things for mankind, this makes a mockery of the Nobel peace prize process.

Why cant we be more like France and surrender immediately, when the next war starts?

Well that, and draining all of Annaj's niceness, plus slipping on the milk and landing in the toaster on the 'high' setting. Suffering possible GBH whilst not being on GBL. Everyone knows it is a dangerous occupation in the Rock 'n Roll business, and working lives tend to be substantially shorter than in industry. They are rocketed to the top leaving them with little or no reason to strive for a better life, and as they age their position is usurped by younger fitter more talented, possibly even gifted people. As they age their talent or gift invariably leaves them, then some go and slip on milk and toasters with sometimes fatal consequences.

Jah Lush has it, get a classic like Nicholas Nickleby or Bleak House and read it for the next two weeks. Then you will have read a classic, which is something we have all meant to do, though few succeed. Ps. you can cheat if you are rich and get the unabridged audio version down-loaded to your mp3 for under a tenner. You have to concentrate, but you can always rewind if you nod off.

A friend who is single had a couple of cats all was well until she took up with a lover, which meant more week-ends away and that was a nuisance as she was forever looking for places to take them when she was away. Why not foster one for a few months and see how things go?

I would bury it, but failing that buy a bag of compost and pour it over it, a 70 litre bag from lidl is ?3. in a few days most of it will have gone, but the stench will disappear as soon as you cover it with the compost. Put on some rubber gloves put it in a bin bag, drop all including the gloves into the wheelie bin. Just a cheaper option and instant.

The theory of feeding of wild birds has changed recently, to hang food out all through the year is now recommended.

So much for freedom of speech on dog owners, I have had dog sh!t smeered over my wheelie bin but only a cynic would connect it with any of the dog owning forum lurkers and users.

Is there any point in ringing the police?

guppy wrote:- But I'm now feeling very paranoid that they might come back... Assume they will and improve you security immediately, even if it means a day off work, because you do not want to come back to a ransacked or despoiled abode, usually the damage they cause will cost far more than the security additions. -
A pair of blackbirds have started to visit the garden, to peck at the windfall apples and pears.

Buzzards generally live in rabbit infested areas, not surprising as it's their most popular dish.

Sounds like they may be delivering from an ox cart.

Judging by the colour of the discarded feathers it looks as if a pigeon was being the lunchtime fayre. When the hawk has finished the remains have the shape and look of a red indians war bonnet lying on the ground.

Missing signals is allowed, as they're soooo easy to miss HonaloochieB. I do not think any lady participating on this thread is in my age range, so flirting with a 'got lucky' outcome is err unlikely.

I have never minded bathing a lady before massaging her in the bedroom and then having my wicked way. I enjoy investing in soap and hot water, bath foam to please myself or the lady. I am not considered to be tight daizie quite the reverse, in fact some of my ex's have mentioned my generosity, so we are not all stinky, tight fisted, no-hopers. You just seem to get that type is all. I rather admire that you can 'adapt' your stadards it shows that you're a game girl. Good for you.

Most men want sex, not a lifetime commitment. After they've suffered the indignity of a 'loaded against us divorce', why repeat that mistake when sex is readily available to most people with their own teeth, non-stinky, no psychotic illness etc. Many modern western women are 'picky', strident, and demanding, so it's not surprising there is a shortage of takers when there is the danger of a repeat performance. I am convinced that the law and the way it is administered against the male species, is succeeding in driving a wedge through the heart of matrimony. If for example the law stated 'you can only take from the wreckage what you put in' would marriage be such an attractive proposition to the female? I must point out that I am not a misogynist, I think many women are lovely, delightful, sunny creatures, and have lots of ex-girlfriends who are still happy to talk to me, but I only have one ex-wife.......

How can house prices go down when population is going up?
SteveT replied to CT Wac's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
mockney piers wrote:- The price of a house isn't necessarily the main factor in the cost........... The costs of repayment are what determines the take up on purchases of houses, whether it be a cash buyer a mortgage or bank loan. It is directly related to what somone is willing to pay for it. -
60% are terminated (just for you Huguenot) which means there is a share out of resources, bringing us back to the original posters concern of the value and viability of pre-nups.

Private Eye refer to him as Lord Snooty, very apt. I could not defend Labour and their unelected leader, it is time they went. I am saddened by the meagre selection offered, no wonder politics is only considered by approximately 7% of the inhabitants. They are to the most part a bunch of post boys, and the real power his held by the industrialists such as Murdoch. It certainly spelled disaster for Labour when Murdoch jumped ship.

Mick Mac wrote:- Apparently the man fox gets "locked together" during the big act with the foxy lady - is this true. It's true with dogs, the male can not move away during congress until the bitch releases him.

The blue tits are back feeding at the peanut dispenser in the garden, it's getting colder and they need to build their fat reserves.
