    This is my greatest disappointment about ED, the amount of plane noise you have to get used to. I could imagine it being the thing most likely to drive me out of here.

    Are they thin and crispy, cheap and delicious, if not I shall go to Rome from city airport and eat my fill because there are no bad pizzas in Rome.

    It is very much dependent on the weather, but a few years ago they had BBQs Friday and Saturday nights they were limited to 500 per night and each night a sell out at a ?10 per head it was great money they were making for cooking a few sweet corn etc. Not many swam maybe 20%, and the rest sat at tables with a storm lamp or torch. Because it was a Friday night it extended the week-end somehow.

    Lawyers are only so good. A friend who was selling her home found she had sold her home and received no money. The lawyer went bankrupt when her money was in the lawyers account following the transaction. A crooked system which should not be perpetuated in my opinion.

    I shall vote for a 'clean hands' politician, and will probably be a newby if 'clean hands' is a pre-requisite.

    Do I need a licence for bumble-bee keeping? I feel it's an honour to have birds and bees nesting in the garden.

    I watched a few bumble bees fly into an unused birdbox in my garden, does this mean I am now a bee-keeper?

    That sounds much more like it MM, not the "I shall stand down at the next election" or "I will repay the money" routine. Repaying what they should never have received in the first place, is not justice, why are they not prosecuted like we would be, if the positions were reversed? Do our politicians fall into the category of special case? Should all MP's found on the expenses list stand down at the next election?
