  1. Peckham farmers market outside the pulse may be worth a try on a Sunday. Northcross rd market on Saturdays. Selling from a LL shop like the Sushi lady outside Moxons wet fish shop. There is a chef on the forum selling meals, you may try that route by putting up here what food dishes you are making and the phone number for orders, and where and when we can collect. Best of luck.

Bin there done that, got sand in me shoes and a sore bum from excessive camel riding. Did not care for the food much either. The place was full of shifty looking types trying to sell me historical paraphernalia. Never went back so couldn't have rated it highly. Did not like being badgered constantly when on the street. Have a nice hols charlie2 dye your hair blonde they really like blondes and brush up your French too.
  3. Aye said the sparrow, With my little bow and arrow. Murderous little bar stud.
  4. I always found belair house over priced for the fayre they served. I never would have described it as great unless 'rip off' was included in the sentence.
  5. Can we throw out all mayors and woolsacks, blackrod carriers, and any other misbegotten hybrids that forumistas may care to identify?
  6. If they remove bus lanes and insert cycle lanes it would go a long way to clean up this town and make it more user friendly.
  7. I thought that it was reserved for down and outs, drunkards and others considered far more important than cyclists.

Sorting my runner bean canes and pea sticks, liming the bed as it has not been dug over for years and it all goes acid, so slaked lime changes the ph of the soil what ever that means. All I know is it works, so I do it.
  9. When I was over charged the bacon which in theory had been discounted had been sold out, and they put the ordinary bacon in it's place with all the discount blurb around it. You really have to have your wits about you, when buying discounted lines.
  10. Lying thieving cabinet ministers and their lying, thieving, backbencher lackies. Amoral, politicians who become duplicitous, hypocritical, morally bankrupt, incorrigible individuals.
  11. Must be a night heron!
  12. Should she remain in her job?
  13. Lidl are selling cycling shorts, shoes, repair kits, and tool kits, pedal over there immediately before they're all gone.
  14. david_carnell wrote:- A stricter, more transparent expenses system coupled with a higher parliamentary wage should eliminate the problem rather easily. Some might argue that politicians are over paid, when coupled with a blank cheque expenses sheet. They get sufficient money for the amount they seem to achieve, why should they have an increase without any apparent increase in achievements. Having to get your own porn in must be a strain remembering whether you've already viewed it. I expect them to make much larger claims in future, so they can laud it over us with a proper lavish lifestyle, enabling them to make up for all those years of starvation as a backbencher with smaller expenses forms.
  15. A stroll across Dulwich Park and have a coffee and an illegal cake with cream.
  16. There is certainly a change in the weather since My childhood, it is much drier now than I remember as a lad. The barometric movement has changed in that it will go from 'very dry' to 'stormy' in a day, these swings are more extreme and happen frequently in recent years. The possibility of a hurricane is much more likely, until that one in the late eighties they were something which happened in more exotic climates.
  17. Pike and rats do.
  18. She has been caught at it, along with Mcnulty, Hoon, Darling, and heaven knows how many more have avoided the mud. I thought Humphries was quite laid back Lizzy, as I have heard him rip in to people in the past, and Jacqui Smith seemed unrepentent as far as I could tell. What sort of system is in place where they can claim anything they like without question, and their only embarrassment is when something is 'leaked', why are they treated as a special case? She thinks by repaying the money all is well, no harm done. People in other walks of life have paid with their jobs, and/or do time inside for these misdemeanors. If they were straight honest and decent, I suppose they would never get to ministerial rank. She was the one who was going to stick the boot into prostitution, yet she seemingly approves of porn being provided by us the tax payer. How can we take them seriously when they display such dishonesty?
  19. Who cares, yawn.
  20. Private Eye having such small print, cheapskates should invest in more ink so we can read it in bolder type!
  21. Did they have the 'Minister of funny walks' to advise Southwark on pavement construction for Lordship Lane?
  22. Ed walkers are no dodgier than the pavement surfacing in LL, perhaps we all eventually evolve to 'weird walking' to cope with Southwark's idea of flag-stone laying.
  23. Hopefully the place will pick up now. By EDsupporter. It will only survive if they do good food, nobody goes out to drink any more, but they do go out to eat though.
  24. The one-way direction, if it is anything like their share value, is downwards.

    Hobbies

I am not sure about selecting a hobby, one usually has to have an interest in something, which then develops to hobby status.
