I am one who is responsible for the rave reviews and now have to eat a large helping of humble pie, sorry Asset. I went a few days ago and was disappointed, it was dull. I remember the days, the good old days, when it was very good though.......... sadly it didn't last.

Keef, you have done magnificently compared to what Barclay's are getting embroiled in, a 15%pa on a 7 billion loan. What would the repayments amount too per annum???? I am tempted to move my account. If they offered me only 10% I would put all my assets with them, but we the customers are not asked. How do these useless creeps get into the position of absolute power? -

Most people are intimidated by their unpleasant reception staff, so in my opinion it should not be returned to them, but posted into a sealed box or to an independent address. I was relieved to find the DMC the place in CP Rd, a far more polite experience. -

'neologism' noun a newly coined word or expression. Origin from neo = new + Greek logos 'word'. Good shout HB, although not what we were expecting, it is very informative and gives this thread academic class, good man.

I have read two new words today, SeanMcG wrote 'faffage' when describing the miseries of airport usage. Gubodge used the word 'twunts' which made me laugh, on the 'cyclist nicking' thread. Anyone else spotted 'new words' lying around?

It seems to me that the PCSO's are taking the soft option, nicking child cyclists, and cigar butt droppers (SeanMLow). I would rather they spent their policing time more "effectively" dealing with difficult neighbours, whistling stalkers and such like. -
Good for you Amelie, for taking the time and trouble to complain on their behalf, at this outrageous and unnecessary behaviour.(tu)

I would not know how to check that I was being ripped off by my supplier, they seem to have made it impossible to check up on them. Many years ago I could read the metre and work out what I owed, now I have not got a clue.
