  1. We took all ours out at 18 months. Low bed, made a big thing of it including a 'present'. No problem with any of them from night 1. I also do tell them that when "Daddy closes the door your room is transported to a dragon's lair and if you open the door he'll come in and eat you"
  2. He found out David Bowie wrote All the Young Dudes....hasn't recovered

Anyone want to ask me what the Irish I work with feel about the hike in interset rates they had yeasterday to cool the German economy?
  4. My taste in technology > than your taste in technology

    100s

When I'm not around it just goes to pot. Alan Medic first of all does a 100 not in the lounge and then crows about his 4500......which he set up himself with post 4499 -er, disallowed. Learn the rules Alan, you're worse than Declan. Laddy M - you are suspended as ref couldn't even spot a basic infringement like that...back to school. Karter you fancy reffing in my abscence?
  8. People, governments, companies who borrow money have been conned into it have they? *scratches head

No? And dislike of the Guardian makes you a News of the World fan? How are these linked? One of the reasons I dislike The Guardian is the pious, sactomonious tone of some of its readers and journalists whos seem to think they are the only cowboys with white hats in Dodge City. Everyone else is baddy boo hiss. I thought the NOTW was a horrible paper long before this story and am delighted the Guardian exposed this and quite happy to praise them for it...as I was the Telegraph on MPs expenses. Don't like either papers though.
  10. edited 'cos I can't actually be ars*d with it anymore
  11. If you can't find local, try Lambeth Road (Lambeth Bridge Road?) plenty of S American bars/restaurants and pubs including a trad pub with a brazilian flag outside today
  12. COME ON TIM
  13. I genuinely think he has issues. His stuff like a left wing Littlejohn's but somehow gets in 'quality press' he either deliberately lies, slanders or has no grasp of the facts on any of his directly political stuff which shows no analysis just anti-tory rants really full of hatred. He's better on variiuos civil rights type issues and i wish he'd stick to that. His economic stuff is laughable in its inadequacy and ;lack of understanding. My suspicion is he's a middleclass guy who struggled with his sexuality - i think he's open about his various past problems (weight/Slot machines) but I don't think the scottish workers son who managed to get into Cambridge is true. He annoys me but i'd like to meet him>
  14. People still act as if the birth rate's the problem for demographics, crap. That's mad lots of new healthy soon to be productive and active new human beings is great nope all the drain comes in the winter years...it's people living longer that is ours and the globes major problem.
  15. ...of course they may come to the correct utilitarian conclusion that people outlive their usefulness and start to be the major drain on society at about 75, so cull uss all then solves population, pension and national health pressures in one swift injection

  17. Chippy stuff about private schools shocker. Without our local private & public schools most of Dulwich would be a built over ugly suburb and that's just for starters..... (Please note all my kid are and are going to be stated educated before a load of class ridden abuse rains down from the worthy lefties)

  20. and I know SJ will get annoyed but twitter is the biggest load of cack ever.....with the exception of online poker I could happily do without the foooking internet
  21. to be clear, thsi is better than Facefuck by a country mile
  22. I've been lurking all day...nothing, niente, nix has inspired me to post. Facebook's the same...I feel a huge enui with the whole 'social networking' thing at the mo. Boring, self indulgent and posed.....and that's just me.
  23. Camberwell New Road-Vauxhall bridge-first left Embankment, to A4-M4, No way M 25...it could take you as long to get to the nearest bit of the M25 as it does the M4. We go down a lot and alternate between A303 and M4/M5 but the latter is normally quicker although less scenic and more miles.
  24. well UT - Me too from 79-82ish. Almost to anorak level - wouldn't listen to anything else apart from a bit of Bowie and, bizzzarley, the B52s (oh and reggae)
  25. Lacoste maybe, infact yes, FP toooo much youth culture heritage to be chavy
