  1. I don't, daizie - but I am an incorrigible flirt
  2. annaj, err.. how long have you been reading this forum? That's kinda one of *Bob*s USPs... Personally, I find it quite attractive in a man. But as *bob* already knows, I can pretty much turn my head the full 360 degrees and still he's not interested

  9. Interesting that the OP and the following 2 posts were all Irish and supportive of his claims. I would also support them I did know several good catholic priests and Christian Brothers when I was growing up - and interestingly, despite the difficulties involved, most of them left the church , with one of them telling me it was because he could no longer live with the Church's activities. i was waay too young to understand what he meant but I already knew enough wrong 'uns to know I would be keeping clear of this paticular institution My point is, to blame it on a small number of corrupt nuns and priests is just plain wrong. It was systematically broken and corrupt. When did teh last of the Magdalene Laundries close again?
  10. credibility is earned by making the right decision surely? Not by meekly toadying along. Britain would have been criticised for sure, but lost credibility? No..
  11. daizie - I have friends and relatives down Wallington way. It's ooooohkaaaaay in the "suburb of Croydon down at heels" type of place it is but there is no reason why one whould choose it above anywhere else
  12. Just because Bush said it, didn't mean allies couldn't say "well it depends on what you intend to do George" The country was WITH America in revuslsion at the attacks, but had a fair idea that illegaly invading other countries unrelated to the attacks was not in any way about being "with" someone
  13. Yes I did get that much, but as an advert for flogging/physical punsihment or whatever, it's hardly ringing endordement is it?
  14. And your case to back this up with starts with what as an example? Give me a country you would be happy to live in where the punishment fits the crime as you see it?
  15. Morden used to be home to Adrian's, one of the best record and then CD stores in the country and so would have been ineligable for this list from my perspective (I even went ther when I lived in Swindon fer crying out loud!) . These days however ....

  23. possibly true Alfie, but if people didn't complain about the numbskulls around them, where's the hope! I think the OP's point was to find out if he had enough support or if it is he/she who is going mad
