  1. A real man wouldn't mind some well-aired jeans Citizen * impressed by chili idea (and unimpressed by real-life work canteen lasagne he's just had) Sean sets to work on chili *

  5. to be fair I do use a lot of Brill Cream
  6. definitely Sorry - I'm mid experiment [minutes later] Experiment concluded - very weird indeed. Tried all search options but it's not having it
  7. I read that this morning and thought I could EASILY make the same mistake
  8. Don't worry everyone - eel be back
  9. Careful Asset - that's some STRONG stuff I need a smoke * strikes match against painfully ginger stubble *
  10. * cough * Before all this gets out can we have dibs on the good stuff? ;-)

  13. Not at all Seats - just the weather is bringing me down and I got rained on again this morning (and the shoes which are new enough to not be broken in yet have sprung a leak- bah humbug) Back to the anagram fun
  14. Ko - peacemaker extraordinaire ! And I never refuse a hug CB Good to see the breakout of peace - but it sure ain't the weather causing it. I've not been so wet so often since schooldays
  15. Similar to the Music Room but for news really A link to a newspaper article you found amusing/ interesting/worth sharing/well written - it doesn't have to be big serious issues I'll kick off with Simon Hattenstones article this morning which reflects a similar unease I have with football (even though he is a Man City fan and therefore already used to pain and suffering) http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2007/07/11/why_thaksins_billions_are_a_fa.html
  16. Completely different feel to the new place but plenty of familiar faces and we were royally looked after - best of luck K&J
  17. Me likes Tillies the best - skating close to the truth
  18. Do they charge full whack for children's portions? Naughty... Although I would rather explain where a crayfish came from than where a chicken nugget comes from
  19. But Love Is The Key
  20. So THAT's why I can't sleep tonight - and now I have to buy a new pillow cover at Roullier White! ;-)
  21. Nice one Administrator. Frankly I find this kind of talk a load of haddocks
  22. Muttley Certain words are filtered by the site software (for spam reasons) In the past "speci-ial-ist" or similar without the hyphens has caused problems because the word includes a certain spam-prominant drug Does your post contain any sequence of letters which might constitute a "bad word"
  23. Not a good position to be in QZ - but there is a difference between people flouting legislation (which everyone does at some point in some manner) and causing trouble - noisy neigbours are no fun If it's short term I think you will just have to make do for the night If it is potentially longer-term then I would agree with ruffers - start a log of activity. You mention "in the past" - is this an ongoing thing, something that happens regularly, or just once in a blue moon?
  24. * hate to leave but I gotta get me a train headed due south * later y'all
  25. yep - respect to pubs who offer smaller portions to children and don't go down the route of scary nuggets'n'chips
