People still like trad pubs - when they're nice. Not when they stink of 10 year old fags and your feet stick to the floor.

If he can't give you a quote for the job ("an extra ?80 if it takes me longer"? Seriously?) I'd avoid. I'd expect to pay maybe ?200-?250 a day for labour. Materials shouldn't be expensive for repointing a wall. If this waterproofing additive is his excuse, maybe ask him to leave it out?

The problem is that there are too many nostalgic middle-aged men, who are convinced that the original trilogy was somehow more profound or important than it really was. And they're holding the new film up to that benchmark. None of the films are particularly smart. They're family-friendly action/adventure/fantasy. Silly, but good fun.

Boxing rankings are pretty mysterious. Each body has their own system, and the top 10 is usually completely different for each one.
