  2. Just finished Bad Science, cracking read, even if I am some poor little blonde female humanities graduate popsy who can barely understand clever Dr. G.

Have you considered this possibility?
  4. Nice one, Louisa, that made me laugh.

Right, BBW, I'll be expecting to see a crop circle in my overgrown lawn by 4am tomorrow morning, and I'll be deeply disappointed if you fail to provide.
  6. ...because it's more important to keep to the schedule than for passengers actually to be able to complete their journeys? Isn't this backward thinking?
  7. "Crop circle theorists believe the patterns are created by (ET) UFOs during nocturnal visits, or caused by natural phenomena such as unusual forms of lightning striking the earth, though the latter is highly unlikely" Snicker. That said, while I sneer away at people thinking UFOs did it, I am in fact in awe of the creative abilities of the people that did it. In the middle of the night, presumably!
  8. ????, I see your point, but I didn't read Sean's post as connected with yours. Dunno if that helps. *hands Quids a cowboy hat and fringes for his trousers, provides gentle push in direction of Rancho Relaxo*
  9. Mornin' strangers.
  10. What clique? There's no clique. *kicks BBW under table*
  11. I do like this thread, it's like a microcosm of human nature. And may I say that PetuniaButtons is a marvellous user name.

    Happy birthday, though.
  13. This kind of story really makes your heart stop.
  14. That's all we are saaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyiiiiing.
  15. It's near to where I live, and I like living there. Our family feels safe, and we know our neighbours. Hope you enjoy your new home.
  16. *forgives Ted all that is past and grants him newness of life*
  17. BBW uses it for giving massages.

  19. Bloody hell, turn your back for a minute and you're getting volleyed and thundered from all sides. - BN5 - pah, a measly chip. Whassat to a man of your stature in the community? - BBW - leave it out, I clearly announced our imminent arrival in good time for you to whip back from Forest Hill, don't take it out from me just because you didn't get to meet the lissom Dr. J. But it was a super night, and such a treat for Mr. Moos and me to be out on the tiles. Lovely to see the (slightly wobbly) SeanMac, the ever-upright CitED, the always-charming BelleCarnells (sorry about the bottom slap) and all the tableful of fine folk. Seconded re: the glamorous Lady Mac and her fab dress. DigitalRonin, very nice to meet you. HAL9000, sorry we didn't really chat but at least I talked to your friend, the Man With The Burglar Stories *waves* ! Mrs DigiR, we will find you a hedgehog, oh yes.
  20. Not sure who's going for the evening session, but Mr. Moos and I are suddenly free to come along, so hope to see some of you there.
  21. What a terrible situation - my deepest sympathy to the families and friends of those killed, and those in hospital. We should all keep an eye out for the eventual results of the analysis of what happened, and how such a thing can be avoided in the future.

  23. HeidiHi, if you read Buggie's post again you will see that she is referring to the sonographers, who are 'not being difficult'.
