I was saying much the same thing on the other thread about the recent accident and was made to feel like I was an idiot for even suggesting the idea.
  2. I'm always worried as a United fan. Never take your eye off the ball. I'm sure Becks will have something to say (on the field). As for cheating Matt...really?

  4. Yeah, let's hear it for Colin! And ya boo sucks to the haters.
  5. I wondered when the first Hammer was going to appear! ;-)
  6. Ok, ok. Be calm Jimmy. It was just an opinion. I never said he was perfect. I think that it's a bit unfair to say that he shouldn't want some sort of disciplinary action against the linesman. He made a mistake, which, as you say happens, but it was a fairly crucial one. He was quoted as saying that he had been told that if the decision is wrong then the official will be suspended and he added he hoped he was for a long time. Fair enough I say. You are in good company here as I am the only person that will defend Warnock. I think the other must still be in bed. ;-) Just to add, I don't think there are many managers out there who haven't encouraged their players, at one time or another, to clatter and opponent. I just donh't think you hear about it.
  7. I don't know. I think he should feel a bit peeved. Palace could have done with that result and I've always had as soft spot for them. I also think he's the sort of character we need in the game (I am ducking for cover), I just loved that quote from him about managing Wednesday.
  8. I've tried that tactic Jah, you'd be amazed how far back an insult can be dug up from.
  9. Thanks for this Mockers. I thought I'd already thanked you but I realised I'd been remiss!
  10. This is The Mirror table without Pompey: Not so bad. for united...
  11. Hmm, Giggs out for four weeks. Rio banned. Nani banned. Vidic still not fit. Could be a good few weeks for Arsenal or Chelsea.
  12. I wasn't looking for biff. Just making a point. Imagine the sentence said to you by a mate in the pub, wearing a wry smile. This internet malarky is so impersonal.
  13. You've got to be putting the ball in the right place to force an own goal in the first place Ruffers. No shame in that.
  14. Ask him for your stake back!
  15. *snore*
  16. Come on Matt, you can take a joke can't you? Unlike some. Suprisingly,as I'm sure you know, Nani IS one of our better players now. At least he has been for three or so games. I know Robbie Savage was umming and ahhing about the tackle as he wasn't sure it was a red card, but hey, them's the breaks. I haven't seen the Fabregas incident but I was suprised Liverpool didn't out muscle Arsenal last night. You say you had a lot of the game Matt?
  17. *yawn*

  19. Pretty happy with a draw away to Villa. It was always going to be a slippery one.
  20. Are you kidding Jah? Don't try and confuse Atila's arguments with reason or fact. ;-)
  21. Yes, we'd all love to see United go under. That would be lovely. At least then City would be certain to finish in the top six and Arsenal would have a chance of winning a trophy...oh no, hang on, for that to happen Liverpool and Chelsea would have to go as well. Back to the drawing board. :))
  22. :))
  23. Anna! You're alive! ;-)
  24. Pompey saved!For now.
