  1. Hey Ratty, nothing against Pompey. You never know, it might give them a boost!
  2. Sorry to see Cov go out of the cup to such a sucker punch. They had most of the game last night.
  3. I am like the Earth to your sun Atila. My world revolves around you.
  4. Erudite as ever Atila. Personally I think Wossy should be laughing all the way to the bank. On the one hand I can't stand my license fee being spent so freely on him, although I do find him funny when I watch him, on the other if they offered it to me I'd bite their hands off so who can blame him.
  5. I ignore you on the football thread becasue you talk nonsense. Everything else is fair game.;-)
  6. I wondered how this thread had got to 3 pages so I thought I'd have a read. Now I see Atila is involved I can see why. :))
  7. Sorry BR, I dozed off. The board is having one of it's Groundhog Day moments.
  8. One United!
  9. It's a United nickname appropriated by the second best team in Manchester. :)) Speaking of large crowds I heard recently that Celtic v Leeds in the 1970 semi final got nearly 134,000 people through the gate. It must have been cosy. We also used to get pretty high gates when we played at Maine Road after the war.
  10. I'm undecided. The way were playing it could be humiliating.
  11. Not even a dirty Rag would have told that joke.
  12. Finally they are filming the Come Dine With Me episode.
  13. Nah. Dirk would have skied it over the bar well before Wesley got there.

The control panel should come up on your computer screen when you follow the first couple of steps that Loz laid out above.

  16. I also remember a couple of years ago listening to an interview with a non-league manager who had led his side to the 3rd round of the FA Cup. He said there was nothing more stressful then driving along the high street and seeing your star stirker up a ladder cleaning windows. :))

Did anyone else hear one of the commentators on 5 live the other night talking about how he was off at the Under 21's championship and his heavily pregnant wife decided to tear up half the carpets (nest building anyone?). She couldn't find anyone to fit new ones so said commentator was bemoaning the fact and Garry Birtles went round and did it for him! Twice winner of the European Cup and carpet fitter in a previous life. That's when footballers were proper!

  19. Ouch. I shall not ask again!
  20. Loz, is there a similar programme for Mac users?
  21. It's a Sky router so they come ready installed with a WEP key and user name.
  22. Skys routers are Netgear aren't they. I wouldn't have thought there would a be a problem with that. Have you tried using it hard wired?
  23. 'Flash out' raises a few eyebrows too.
  24. Sue, that's an absolute disgrace. I worked in TV production for many years and know how slipshod they can be sometimes but I would complain a lot harder if I were you. What was the production company?
  25. Cover me. I'm reloading. You should see the look the wife gives me as I whisper that to her. ;-)
