  1. :'(Man I keep scanning the skies for UAVs!
  2. Both Carling cup semi first legs are off.
  3. He was on the bung that day wasn't he?
  4. You don't remember much either, but you don't forget.
  5. Hilarious.
  6. Is that a City pub? I was in there last year for a charity quiz. I thought I felt a bit nauseous! ;) If it's a serious invite and I wouldn't get glassed then I'd love to come, however, having spoken to the wife I think I might have childcare issues. Again, if you are serious I might be able to arrange something for the next leg.
  7. Hmm, now let me thinking about that invite BR. Nah, I've got a pub earmarked in New Cross.
  8. Erm, at what point was this about us losing to Leeds? I've said in several posts that it was a worthy win. I have no problem with losing today.
  9. Sorry, it's just boring. It was posted by Matt, I think, a couple of months ago.
  10. I don't even have to click on the link. Let me guess, it's a back heel. The one that didn't relegate United. Was that City's last glorious achievement? :-S
  11. Ha, ha. The last bastion is finally reached. I've been to Old Trafford a lot. I am a member and have been for many years. I'm not a Manc but I've supported the club since I was a boy, as my father was a United fan and watched Law and Best and the rest and fell in love with them. Now come on, tell me I can't be a proper fan and I'm a glory hunter and all the rest...
  12. Ha, great, some ping pong player slags him off so it must be true. Pretty weak BR. You an find a columnist to support any opinion You like.
  13. Jimmy, we cross posted, the crazy thing was @BR not you. :))
  14. Well, I think that's a crazy conclusion but fair enough. Have you ever seen the interview with him after Aberdeen won the Scottish cup? Slagging his players etc. He's impetuous, sometimes arrogant, petulant and many other things but he knows how to play the game and he knows what he's doing, so long live the purple faced, drunkard.
  15. I can't count the amount of times in the last two decades when I've heard that we are in crisis. I don't buy it but I guess we'll see. Even a trophyless season, whilst not being ideal, is not a disaster. We have long term sponsorship deals in place and a well balanced (when all fit) playing staff, with a good mix of youth and experience. I'm losing patience with Berbatov and Anderson but I think there's a lot of quality there and we'll be ok. One loss to a lower division side in the FA Cup doesn't make a crisis. We're in the title hunt, we qualified easily for Europe and we should be getting a few players back from injury. Let's see how we are in May. As for ITV or other channels losing their love, that's just laughable. It works both ways. United will have brought in a big audience for the game today and their Champions League games. Audiences bring in advertising revenue. I would have thought that the suits at ITV were cursing their luck that United went out at such an early stage with the state of advertising revenue at the moment.
  16. They did say that he went off to speak to the team. Fair enough to go and have a bit of tea cup throwing before you speak to the press.
  17. Oh, here we go. Sanctimonious Keef gets in on the act...;-) I thought you weren't interested in football any more.
  18. Well done Leeds indeed. I don't mind losing to a better side on the day we've lost to City a few times in the last few years, sometimes heavily, and I have no problem with that. I don't like losing but it's par for the course. I just don't understand the name calling of the manager and balls about previous victories. I've seen a picture of you. You like like a gentleman of a certain age, don't you think you are a bit old for all that?
  19. So that's where it went!
  20. I don't know which coverage you were watching BR but Fergie spoke to the reporter on ITV after the game. Leeds were very good today and we deserved to lose. It's one of those games which Leeds are going to be up for no matter what division they are in so it's no suprise they should pull out a win. It's also a great chance for you and Matt to trot out the same old crap, abuse and insults so that's nice. All I can say is we can now concentrate on the league and the European Cup like Liverpool....oh, hang on...;-)
  21. Good result for the Rags tonight. Very pleased.
  22. Portsmouth issued with a wind-up order to be heard in feb.
  23. We'll take on all comers! :'(
  24. Boooo! :))
  25. Bob, as far as I know you don't open any doors in Favela. Have you tried exploring other options?
