  1. I think United are going to be in serious trouble in the next few months. I wouldn't be suprised if they went bust at all. Arsenal, Chelsea and City are probably the only three who are safe. Quids, all the united fans I know liked Tevez until the summer, then there was so much double dealing and bs from both camps that it soured the whole relationship for us. There aren't many ex-players of ours (even the crap ones) who we don't respect and acknowledge but the whole thing was handled very badly.
  2. I had a really bad experience with Profeet. I ended up getting a full refund after missing a month with an injury which two seperate podiatrists put down to their orthotics. If you are going to get orthotics go to a podiatrist, somewhere like the Crystal Palace Sports Injury Clinic.
  3. Good game tonight. Tevez looked up for it but didn't need all the gesturing did he? Took a few dodgy decisions for them to get the edge. I'm looking forward to next week already. Classic cup football.
  4. Anna! You're still alive!
  5. and don't worry if you lose the odd toe nail. It's not as painful as you'd think.
  6. Yeah, he's going to be Fergie's No. 2 until he decides to retire. It's a done deal.
  7. Taper. I don't normally have blister problems but when I was marathon training and when I get rubs from wearing no socks in tris I use Compeed. What are the generic equivalents? I nevver seem to be able to find them.
  8. No point in hardening your feet up like that, it'll cause more problems. Try Compeed blister plasters, they are excellent. You just leave them on until they fall off. Also try slathering the areas in vaseline. Runner's World website has a lot of good tips as does their forum have a read. There are more complicated measures you can take.
  9. Shakespeare pedant alert! The quote is "All that glisters..." Sorry.

  12. City have still got a lot to prove. Bluerev might laugh at us and us Rags might have a few bad results but we've got trophies in the cabinet. City sounded poor tonight.

  17. Glenfiddich also do some interesting bottlings. They like to play around with the type of casks they use like using run barrels. Some of it is a bit faddy but some of it is quite interesting.
  18. Forgive my errant spelling. I am tired. :))
  19. Get yourself to Old Compton Street and this place: Whiskey Galore! I have a bottle of 30 year old Glenfarclas on the go at the moment, pricey but delicious. They are good for getting advice and I think they might let you try some. You can also pick up a Cohiba while you're there. ;-)
