  2. Is anyone having problems with BT at the moment, I have no landline, internet etc. for last 2 3 days coincided with trying to connect to new fibre broadband so thought i?d done something stupid. Anyway rang BT outside fault! Anyone else having problems?

  5. There were even more St Christopher?s was blockbusters I think but down near was Geoff?s it was either where Just Williams is or where the smile clinic is, he was an interesting character , different times, though not long ago

There was an excellent drama documentary back in the late 90s or early 2000?s set up North can? remember the name but was set on an estate up North where people were living in what could be described as abject poverty and was called something like Sharon goes shopping, think it was on Channel 4 at a time when they were a little less mainstream. Can anyone remember it? it was not unlike a Ken Loach film

  10. Hi all, have had great advice from here before, got 15 year old hormonal grunting nephew and his dad visiting for 3 days, actually a very sweet boy, very into footballer, rugby and history. Anyone got any bright ideas, so far thinking of IMAX, Trocadero, Camden market! Are there any football games on I have no idea! Any pointers appreciated as to what an almost non verbal (previously very chatty) teenage Irish boy would like in London. Last time over he was about 8 loved Oliver and the imperial war Museum. Thanks in advance for some suggestions
  11. Blue Mountain was one of the 1st decent places to go for a coffee in East Dulwich before it becacame so gentrified it was ahead of the times so will always have a fond place in my heart

Thankfully l don?t need to see GP very often, however recently needed fairly urgent appointment as needed antibiotics, which I haven?t needed for 18 years no appointment available at surgery for over 2 weeks no appointments at walk in surgery either so advised to go to Urgent care centre, not what I wanted to do but a necessity at the time, advised to go to GP once infection under control, surprised to ring Friday and get appointment for Wednesday would have liked to see female GP but informed none currently at Forest Hill Road until end of May!! Anyway thankful to have appointment
  17. Went to Yming it was very good and even tasted better the next day. Had the set dinner for 2 and there was loads left. Only downside it was very busy even at 18:30 so we?re seated downstairs would book next time. Thank you for recommendation

  19. Meeting a friend from Germany and her daughter in town later, they have chosen to eat in China town has anyone got a good recommendation as I find the whole place overwhelming and the food often underwhelming, has to include crispy duck. Nothing too pricey either Thanks
  20. Got the bus from Stratford a while back was even quicker than getting to Liverpool Street and then the stanstead express and way cheaper

  24. Stocken Bridge used to be held at the Greyhound in Dulwich Village, I think it's at the Rosendale now. They arew very good
  25. Thanks, the actual charge just to request permission is ?259, they're a shower of money grabbing whatever's. they'll probably insist on a survey but think I'll go about it properly!
