Just received the sample jute bags and they look very sturdy.Threshers have agreed to come on board,if the bags can carry up 2 4 wine bottles and these bags look like they can.I will ask the other cloth bag company to send some samples through so we can compare them when we meet.

Im amazed i know the nrew guy who has taken over and he does seem quite inexperienced and i know the sale of the property was not straightforward because the last owner had a left a lot of problems.This however is no justification,for their actions,CSM carried the work out so CSM are responsible. I dyed my wedding dress black and wore it to a ball,very fetching(much to the disgust of hubby)then donated it to a charity shop.

Hy to all involved in the cloth bag project i have sent you a pm.Hopefully we can organise a meet very soon,if anyone else wants to get involved pm me. Its going really well,lots of calls and postive response from southwark and then green team of southwark who are really keen to help.The cloth bags may only be the start of this.:))

Sean unfortuntely the beautiful have split now but im sure we will here from the lovely paul heaton very soon.

The event was organised by many different organisations,Not a lot of awareness in Ed unfortunately,but i do know some of the event organisers and they have asked some of the Ed shopkeepers if they want to help with the organisation next in the respect of advertising in key places,like The organic wholefood shop,The local healthstore and Karavan the new dulwich eco shop.Hopefully most of the shops on LL will help in raising awareness,all the shopkeepers have a good working relationship and they are already working with southwark council on issues of sustainability and recycling.

So the housemartins are still loved and cherished.Glad to see it,im a die hard Baeutiful south fan,all their songs can tell a story.

There are so many talented photographers in East Dulwich im sure someone will submit more pics,it would be great to see pics of the goose green roundabout after southwark have carried out the decor or refurb

Hy Mogs,if you are interested in organising a fair in september,let me know.We have a cloth bag project going on at the mo and if they are ready by sept maybe late sept then we are looking for a way to distribute the free bags to Ed locals.Im sure there are local shops and businesses who would like to get involved,but we will leave that with you,let us know if you are interested

Update met a local teacher who has already started her kids on the designs of the bags and the drawings look really good,very colourful with the theme central to all the drawings.So we have decided maybe having 3 schools involved.Suggestions anyone?
