  1. Well a few things I want to look good (in my opinion) for my wedding in July. I want to injury proof myself within my sports (rugby and boxing to a lesser extent) I am also doing the PT course and strongly feel a PT should be in good shape.
  2. Got one this morning. If you don't know it it's the flats opposit East Dulwich Fusion. The PCN states the reason as: Parked outside of a marked bay/on restricted roadway/landscaped/paved areas or causing an obstruction or inconvenience to others Now, there is a sign - but i always viewed this as protecting the bay around the back. There are no marked bays Is it restricted? it's not landscaped or paved Cars could, and did freely pass my parked vehicle. I'm going to fight this but looking for confirmation that i'm not an idiot for doing it.
  3. Thanks all for the responses. I have been doing this for about 7 months now. started at my maintenance of 2500 kCals and have slowly been adding 100 -200 whenever the weight gain ceased. It's ceased again so will be going up to 4200 next week. There are heaps of studies around how there is no difference in protein synthesis when you get over a certain threshold - (1.10g/lb) and actually oxidation increases which is detrimental. Training has been good, i tried German volume training for 4 weeks. It's very dull, but effective, but does place a huge load on the nervous system - you become VERY tired. No using a Jim Stoppani return "shortcut to size" which is good as it aims to stimulate all 3 types of fibre. Gone that high on carbs as i want to fuel my training - and also - given the other health implications of too much fat and protein, the cals have to come from somewhere......I've fully made my peace with the fact i am getting a bit fat. But starting January I'm taking a long slow diet down to my wedding and hopefully 8ish % bodyfat. I'm thinking i need to look at my gut health more.....
  4. 250g Protein 156g Fat 400g Carbohydrate Aim for 30g Fibre within that.
  5. what are you eating Dirty Box?
  6. Sorry I should have stated - I am a very experienced trainer.....just the first time I've made a long concerted effort to add muscle.
  7. I'm sure i'll get little sympathy from this but i'm currently trying to gain muscle. I'm eating 4000 Cals a day and have plateaued. Just looking for anyone to share advice or tips? Struggling with the sheer volume of food....

  10. This may sound silly as I'm top (humble brag). But i'm not sure i understand the scoring? Am I only top due to Bonus points? (BP) On global total I would be joint 2nd?

  17. Me and the Mrs fancy going for a steak tonight - dont want to spend the earth. Any sugestions in and around Dulwich?
  18. I looked into this a while back, it seems if you are happy to stick within a certain mileage, will look after the car and are happy to potentially stay within the same manufacturer, PCP deals are good. I only really see an issue if you were with say, Ford and then wanted to move to Audi.....It's all about maintaining the value of the vehicle for resale.....
  19. now THAT is how to deal with a moan.
  20. Otta, great time to get back into it!
  21. I have voiced my concerns before. Separate but equally relevant. It's not just the red and green lights, the whole turnstile doesn't work and hasn't for at least 3 years, you only gain access when a staff member presses the button. There was no facility to get any cold water today. Both fountains knackered and only extremely hot coming out of the bathroom taps. One hair-dryer in the gents was reported as broken on the 8th - still not been fixed. The other stopped working and was removed. If i had a viable alternative (travel etc) I would take it. It has such good potential. Just for an example and I appreciate this is far out of London, but this facility is about as good as it gets.....?39 per month membership. http://www.underground-gym.com/ Is there ANYONE that we can talk to about this and raise concerns in a way that is tracked and will be responded to? I emailed Councillor Barber directly and received no reply.
  22. Like the prediction one. I just have the feeling burgess has an x factor.....his reverse pass in contact was incredible...
